Bryan says if he wins, it will tear down the myths he was told as a kid that he was better than everyone else. Daniel says that Orton speaks of deserving things, yet he doesn’t deserve to be called champion. Bryan says when Cena takes the belts back from Orton, he will give him a fair shot. Orton says that is never going to happen. Orton says The Authority wouldn’t either and know he is the face of the WWE. Daniel get a NO chant started.

Anyone looking forward to Smackdown tonight?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’ve been shopping all day and I’m barely with the world. Hopefully I’ll perk up for the show.

      • Alex Gallardo

I have hopes that the show will be good, but I try not to get too excited for WWE. Normally they can disappoint me.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Depends on the day. Sometimes they’re fantastic.

      • David Jr.

I hope the show perks me up, because I had a terrible day today.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Hugs! I hope your day gets better.

          • David Jr.

I’m sure I don’t have to clean up vomit and urine anymore, today.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Sick kids, that’s tough.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Sick kids, that’s tough.

          • David Jr.

I don’t know why but the younger kids tend to get sick during the holiday seasons.

          • David Jr.

I don’t know why but the younger kids tend to get sick during the holiday seasons.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I always did, still do. I think it is the excitement and stress of it all that sets our immune systems screwy. Those of us with bad systems can’t handle that little bit off and we get sick.

          • David Jr.

Actually with kids I think also all that sugar in candy canes, chocolates and other sweets aren’t good for their little stomachs.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

That does add to it, and goes right back to a system being at all delicate, it will go wonky.

          • David Jr.

The funny thing about it is kids are different from adults, They can vomit but then be like the happiest kid in the world talking up a storm and wanting to play with toys. Then there parents come in and are like they’re sick?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It is strange. I’ve never been that way, so I don’t understand how they do it.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Hugs! I hope your day gets better.

        • Alex Gallardo

I’m sorry to hear that, hopefully you can have a better day with us.

          • David Jr.

I will, I’m home so I don’t have to worry about sick children anymore.

          • The Breaker

You sir, are a brave man!

You sir, are a brave man!

I feel bad for you, I don’t have kids but I’m glad you choose to help them.

I hope the show perks me up, because I had a terrible day today.

    • The Breaker

Not really but I’m still going to watch… and maybe fall asleep in the process.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

As I let out a big yawn.

        • The Breaker

          No grape soda tonight?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I have grape soda, just tired.

          • The Breaker

Last-minute holiday shopping never is a walk in the park!

          • Alex Gallardo

That’s why I love the Internet. I just get a lot of that shopping done online.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I did much of it online, this was just the end.

          • The Breaker

It’s still hectic all the same, what with items going out of stock or not shipping on time.

          • Alex Gallardo

Eh, I consider it better because I don’t have to drive to a store and it can be faster for me.

          • Alex Gallardo

Eh, I consider it better because I don’t have to drive to a store and it can be faster for me.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I was prepared before going out today, so it was easier than otherwise.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I was prepared before going out today, so it was easier than otherwise.

          • The Breaker

True. Traffic around the mall this time of year is ridiculous. You’re lucky to find a parking spot!

          • The Breaker

True. Traffic around the mall this time of year is ridiculous. You’re lucky to find a parking spot!

          • Alex Gallardo

That’s very true, there is no way in hell that I’m driving in Chicago Winter weather to the mall during the Christmas season. I’ll be fine in my house.

          • The Breaker

I’m over in Maryland and the weather here is really warming up. Today’s high was in the 50s and the next couple days will climb to 60 and 70!

          • Alex Gallardo

I sure wish it was like that around here, I hate Winter, but I love Chicago.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I understand. I love Maine, hate the winter. We’re supposed to get an ice storm this weekend.

          • Alex Gallardo

And we’ve got a Winter storm this Saturday and Sunday. I’ll be fine staying in my house.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’m not going out. Plan on sewing all weekend.

          • Alex Gallardo

I guess I’ll be listening to Miley Cyrus and watching Family Guy and old Nitro episodes.

          • The Breaker

Winters are usually pretty mild around here but it never gets that warm this time of year. I’m pretty sure it’s a record!

          • Alex Gallardo

That makes me jealous. Send some of that weather up here.

          • The Breaker

I’ll talk to some people and make it happen!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

The year I lived in Maryland I was impressed with the mild winter.

          • The Breaker

As someone who dislikes the cold weather, I’m appreciative of how quickly it comes and goes around here.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It barely seemed like winter compared to what I know as winter.

          • The Breaker

Well it’s still winter to me! It’s all I know! Well except for when I’ve been up in Massachusetts during the winter.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

The winter before that I was in Cape May, NJ, and before that was Florida Keys. So when I left my husband and returned to Maine, that next winter was rough!

          • The Breaker

You were probably layering up the point of immobility!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

More like hibernating! It was when I returned from the Keys for a visit – in the summer – that I had the most troubles. I was all bundled up.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

The closest mall to me is so small that parking isn’t an issue. It was actually shockingly quiet there today. This weekend could be a different story.

          • David Jr.

I have like 2 big malls close to me, and I never go near one at Christmas time.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I don’t blame you. Even our largest mall in Maine is nothing compared to what you have, and I won’t go there right now.

          • David Jr.

I actually have 3 big malls close to me. I forgot about one, that I just remembered.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

The closest even slightly decent mall is almost two hours away.

          • David Jr.

I can get to all 3 in like 10-20 minutes.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’ve never lived anyplace like that.

          • David Jr.

I’ve always lived in a Suburb of Detroit so I’m near a major city.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

One of my docs is from Detroit. We’ve discussed the differences a number of times.

          • Alex Gallardo

I have a pretty big one close to me, but I only go there when it’s not crowded and when there’s a good movie. Not when there’s going to be a lot of people there.

          • The Breaker

One of the advantages of being in Maine! We had two malls, a popular one and a smaller one that no one shopped at. But a couple years ago all the stores left that mall except the Boscov’s. So now there’s just the one and it’s not even all that big either.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

But not much to choose from. I knew what I was after, and had it planned out, so it worked.

          • The Breaker

That’s how I like to shop when I go out. I only browse online.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I normally browse, but today I was worried about crowds, so I got in and out quickly.

          • The Breaker

It’s still hectic all the same, what with items going out of stock or not shipping on time.

          • The Breaker

Last-minute holiday shopping never is a walk in the park!

      • Alex Gallardo

I just watch it out of habit at this point.

        • The Breaker

Pretty much same. SD is barely relevant these days. But hey, every once in a while there’s a great match.

    • The Breaker

Not really but I’m still going to watch… and maybe fall asleep in the process.

  • Nostaljack

    Hi, kids!

  • Nostaljack

    Don’t everyone talk at once…LOL!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Sorry, discussing weather, malls, shopping and barfing kids!

      • Nostaljack

All good but I wanna play too!

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

How was your day? Jump in!

          • Nostaljack

Wonderfully uneventful. I’ve had a chill day and I have my night off for the first time in ages! YES! YES! YES!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

A night off is a nice thing. I have to say a few weeks off my blogs has been a nice break, so I understand.

      • David Jr.

That’s what makes Smackdown’s watch party so fun.

        • Alex Gallardo

And why I love WNW so much. This really has the greatest community of people in the IWC.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It doesn’t have to all be about wrestling!

          • Alex Gallardo

That’s true, and unlike other places in the IWC I can say that I’m a Miley Cyrus fan, a Hulk Hogan mark, and that I’m gay and not be hated for it.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It really bothers me that people are like that. Yes, I love wrestling, and my friends think I talk about it way too much, but there’s still more to the world and getting to know other fans.

          • Alex Gallardo

Eh, I can’t even talk about it front of my friends. It would be like me speaking a different language to them.

          • Nostaljack

Amen. I have very few people in my life I can talk wrestling with. My own brother thinks I’m nuts…LOL!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’m lucky Stacy is so open minded. He went from really never having seen it to watching three nights (plus) a week with me, and really getting into it. But most everyone else looks at me like I’ve lost it.

          • Nostaljack

My friend, Pepe, understands me. We’ve known each other for about 12 years and just a couple of weeks ago found out that we are both raging wrestling fans. I never knew that about him! LOL! He’s just as nuts as I am. He even commented on my last article. Great discovery! My brother watched TLC with us and the only match he liked was AJ vs. Natalya. It was well worked but that’s not what he cared about…LOL!

          • David Jr.

I have a twin brother but he’s into wrestling as much as I am. So I’ve always had him to talk wresling with, too.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think I’ve asked this before, but don’t recall. Identical?

          • David Jr.

No, fraternal. I’m actually 7 inches taller than him.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            That does ring a bell.

          • David Jr.

I’ve always been bigger than him since the day we were born. He was like 7 lbs 6 oz, I was like 9 lbs 8 oz.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Dang! I feel sorry for your mother!

  • The Breaker

Cena and Orton in the first segment? What is this, RAW?

    • Nostaljack

      This is great stuff!!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And here’s Bry! Has to be RAW!

  • Nostaljack

Bryan is really weak here. This is awkward…

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I love Bry, but that was rough.

      • Nostaljack

He actually killed that segment for me. There was more corn there than in your local supermarket. He said nothing.

      • The Breaker

Yeah, but he’s so over that it doesn’t even matter.

  • Nostaljack

Oh, Bryan….Your promo is killing me. Just stop…

  • The Breaker

The Shield? What’s going on? Awesome!

    • David Jr.

Cena, Punk & Bryan vs. Shield tonight.

      • The Breaker

It’s going to be a great main event!

  • The Breaker

Punk? Talk about a loaded first 15 minutes!

  • Nostaljack

    Oh, Zeb…LOL!!

  • Alex Gallardo

I wonder what Zeb thinks about the recent controversy surrounding Phil Robertson. I doubt they would let him defend Phil, especially when WWE works with GLADD.

  • Nostaljack

Big E. is living his dream. If that smile didn’t give it away, I don’t know what would.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Big E is such a natural face! He’s about glowing!

    • The Breaker

It’s probably part of why he struggled playing a heel right after getting called up.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I thought it was a daft move on their part to throw him in as a heel when he’d never been one before.

        • The Breaker

Knowing his real personality you think they would let him be a face so he can be more comfortable. Maybe it had something to do with Ryback being face at that point, and Vince didn’t want two jacked up babyfaces running around at the same time?

        • The Breaker

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            That does make sense.

Proof that things work out right in the end. Big E is proving himself, and Ryback is in the mid-card with Axel, proving that they’re strong together, though not main eventers.

          • The Breaker

The cream will always rise to the top!

          • The Breaker

Thank goodness the roster is talented enough to forcibly correct bad booking!

  • The Breaker

    Cole: Well, Zeb, Feliz Navidad!
Zeb: …You know somethin’, I’m not going to forget you, Michael Cole.
    JBL: I wish I could.

Zeb killed me with the way he said that!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

He’s great! That team would be nothing without him.

      • Nostaljack

        Truth!

  • Nostaljack

AJ!!! I love her! She’s gorgeous and she can work!

  • Nostaljack

    This match is just bad.

  • David Jr.

Tamina looks like she’s wearing her brothers old wrestling gear almost.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Tamina is not chunky, but what she’s wearing makes her look like she is when she’s in the ring with Divas like Brie.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

She needs pants with a higher waist and most of those issues would be gone. Not mom jeans, but not so low as to make her look lumpy.

        • David Jr.

With the black jeans and t-shirt I thought of Deuce.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            I can see it.

She’s always so badly dressed that it drives me crazy. Her bacon ring gear, now this. Someone needs to help that girl. I volunteer!

  • The Breaker

AJ (after watching the replay of Nikki Bella getting blasted by that stiff kick): You know, if you watch that in slow motion, you can pinpoint the exact moment where she forgets math. It’s pretty great.

I don’t know how she came up with that insult but that was hilarious.

    • Nostaljack

      That was beautiful!! LOL!!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Then following it up with not knowing if she was actually able to do any in the first place. Well played.

  • The Breaker

AJ (in response to Cole asking who deserves a shot at the Divas Title): Tamina is possibly the only woman who is worthy of it, and she knows where her bread is buttered. And I mean that quite literally, because I make a mean breakfast.

    She is too funny!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

She has great delivery, no matter who wrote the words. She needs more mic time.

  • Nostaljack

Drew without the rest of 3MB? Interesting. He’s still gonna lose…but interesting…

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      They are out there.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      They are out there.

      • Nostaljack

No Heath though. I just saw Jinder.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They just said he’s out of action for a few weeks. Wonder what happened.

          • Nostaljack

Yeah, I caught that. I’m an unapologetic Heath fan so I hope all is groovy.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

You and I are few and far between. I love Heath. He’s seriously underrated.

          • Nostaljack

He does whatever he’s asked and he’s not afraid to look stupid. Love that!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And looked solid with so many legends!

          • The Breaker

Slater is an impressive talent. A lot of guys in his role might just phone it in but he does so well at making the other guy look good. And I’m still a supporter of Drew!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I support Drew, but I see more in Slater – personally.

          • The Breaker

I think Slater has the edge in personality and charisma but in my estimation they’re fairly even as in-ring workers. For what they’re doing right now Slater is probably doing it better, but in singles competition Drew might be able to outshine him.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I honestly have never seen enough real personality out of Drew, and that’s where he loses me.

          • The Breaker

That’s the reason why his push failed as “The Chosen One”. He wasn’t doing a good job of selling the character, which caused the crowd lose interest.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Like Swags, I really wonder how flashy and exciting Drew is. You can only push so hard if you’re an introvert without that type of personality. Ring talent will only push you so far. Even wrestlers who were not big talkers, the biggest could emote and show so much of who they are in other ways. They just don’t seem to have that.

          • The Breaker

Very true. He obviously wasn’t ready for the push. Maybe he just wasn’t feeling confident enough to play the arrogant heel they wanted him to be? I don’t like comparing Drew to Swagger but they do seem to have the same issues. They were even in a tag team at one point! Both of them are superior in the ring (well, for Swagger, when he isn’t injuring people) but haven’t connected with the crowd in any memorable way. But for whatever reason they’ve given Swagger so many more opportunities. They both have a good look too. And I do think Drew has come out of his shell a little during this latest run in 3MB. I want him to get a shot working the mid card, but I fear that he’ll just get a short push and subsequently become an afterthought.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Drew is absolutely better than he was.

I’d only compare the two when it comes to personalities.

If I was really going to compare someone to Swags it would be ADR – lack of personality, inability to get over, phone things in, have been given too many opportunities for what they’ve shown they’re capable of.

          • The Breaker

That’s a good comparison as well. I’ll say for Swagger that at least his regular moves look better than when ADR starts phoning it in. But again, they both have the tendency to get lazy and make careless mistakes. ADR might have a little more fire in him when he wants to, but his character is still one-note and boring as it gets.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think ADR had more fire early on, but he’s learned he doesn’t have to give his all to be in the main event, so he isn’t.

Swags probably sees the writing on the wall after the Ziggles thing, but who knows.

And since I’m going with the Swags comparison, I also have to compare to Ryback – think they deserve the main event, egos bigger than my house, it’s everyone else’s fault, think they can do whatever they want and get away with it (because they mostly have).

          • The Breaker

It’s just sad that WWE didn’t stop pushing them until they screwed up as badly as they did. Do they have anyone actually watching what goes on in the ring?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think they need eyes and ears backstage after the matches as well. That’s when Ryback is the worst – from what I’ve heard.

          • The Breaker

That doesn’t surprise me. The Big Guy has an even bigger mouth.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Kind of wish Punk had flattened him after that mess.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

    Hunicara!

  • David Jr.

With a Sin Cara that doesn’t get hurt all the time, Anyone want to see Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara at Wrestlemania?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They would have to turn him heel, and end his feud with ADR – but ADR is out for not tucking his head, so…

      • David Jr.

Wrestlemania is the one show you could do a face vs. face match.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

That is true, but I’d expect Mr. Cranky ADR to break it up.

    • Nostaljack

I fear Rey has very little left in his tank. I’m not optimistic about him remaining healthy until then, frankly.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’m not either. He’s not looking great.

        • Nostaljack

I’d hate to see him end up in a wheelchair because he didn’t know when to leave well enough alone.

    • The Breaker

To me it’s not a match to get that hyped over. Keep Rey in a tag team and see how he’s feeling on the lead-up to ‘Mania.

      • David Jr.

I wasn’t really hyped over seeing it, I was curious if anyone was.

        • The Breaker

There would be a crowd for that match, but it wouldn’t be a huge deal for me personally. Rey just isn’t that kind of performer anymore and Sin Cara (Hunico) is a good hand but isn’t connecting at all.

  • Nostaljack

Again with the veiled Luis joke by JBL…LOL!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

‘It’s like we’ve got a new Sin Cara!’

      That was great!

Better than the little pug braids it has been in.

  • Nostaljack

My but it’s a long way up from TNA, isn’t it, Xavier Creed?

    • David Jr.

      Consequences.

      • Nostaljack

I was using a mash-up of his name in WWE and his name in TNA. It was intentional.

  • Nostaljack

    “Raw 20″ isn’t showing up on Blu-ray? That’s bizarre…

    • David Jr.

The Raw 20 don’t look like the greatest episodes but the episodes with the greatest moments. I mean the Pipe Bomb was great but was that episode really that memorable?

  • Nostaljack

Is it just me or is Goldust coming out of all this looking better than Cody?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

He has the seasoning, and knows he’s in his last run – so he’s giving everything.

    • The Breaker

Goldy is definitely more over, but Cody is doing all he can in the ring.

    • The Breaker

Goldy is definitely more over, but Cody is doing all he can in the ring.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Cody is learning so much in the process – from his brother, and from those he’s facing. He will come out of this so much better than going in.

  • Nostaljack

    Ah, battery-powered kerosene lantern…LOL!

  • The Breaker

It’s not a coincidence that the best matches week in and week out usually involve The Shield, The Wyatt Family, The Rhodes Brothers, and the Usos! Loving the tag teams right now!

    • Nostaljack

AMEN! I’m really enjoying the resurgence of tag teams!

    • Nostaljack

AMEN! I’m really enjoying the resurgence of tag teams!

2013 will be remembered for all the great tag team and 6 man tag team matches this year.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And one of the most unexpected, but biggest comebacks in Goldy. I will remember this year because of his work, and the above mentioned teams working together.

And how the fans forced Bry to the top.

      • The Breaker

This is the best it’s been since the late 90s.

    • Nostaljack

      I think Michael heard you…LOL!

  • The Breaker

It’s funny how JBL continues insisting that Bryan join the Wyatts, with his only reasoning being that he bears a slight resemblance to them.

  • Nostaljack

When Goldust goes to hit his opponents, his Dusty-isms come out…

  • Nostaljack

WWE app stuff; Match continues. Rowan goes to work on Goldust’s leg a little. Rowan puts both fists on either side of Goldust’s face and squeezes. Weird move!

  • Nostaljack

Comment from John: Goldust is in the ring and he’s not the one we’re calling a freak. That’s how weird *they* are…

  • Nostaljack

Didn’t Sister Abigail die somehow? Am I imagining that?

    • David Jr.

No, you are not, there is a video that Bray Wyatt talks about the late sister Abigail.

  • Nostaljack

I *HATE* these non-title losses. They devalue the belts.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’d agree, but from what I saw, it was a solid match. The TTCs can’t win them all, and losing one this strong doesn’t bother me.

    • The Breaker

I see your point, but it wasn’t exactly a clean win.

      • Nostaljack

I see both Kendra’s and your points.

  • Nostaljack

App update: Choose favorite title change fav. 3rd choice: 97 Royal Rumble – Shawn Michaels vs. Sid. Missed the first two…darn it.

  • David Jr.

WWE.com has a list of the top 25 matches of 2013. Cena vs. Punk was only #6, the weird thing about the list, Cena vs. Rock wasn’t even on it.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yet it won the Slammy. That’s WWE logic!

      • David Jr.

The 5 higher than Cena vs. Punk are.
        5. Bryan vs. Cesaro on Raw (the gauntlet match)
        4. Rhodes Brothers vs. Shield at Battleground.
        3. Punk vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemania
        2. Cena vs. Bryan at Summer Slam
        1. Punk vs. Lesnar at Summer Slam.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Punk and Brock? Who’s smoking what?

          • David Jr.

I think Cena and Undertaker were both better matches for Punk in 2013.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Agreed!

          • The Breaker

In my opinion Punk/Lesnar was one of the top matches of the year (I would still pick Punk/Cena or Punk/Undertaker over it though). The story they told was excellent, and Punk was able to get more out of Brock than anyone else in his latest run.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I will fully admit that I don’t like Brock, and I just cannot see beyond his ego and his recklessness to see the good in him. I’m biased, and I will admit to it.

          • The Breaker

Understandable. He’s definitely a polarizing figure. I’m not a fan of his attitude but in the current WWE there’s no one quite like him– a true monster– in terms of in-ring ability. I totally understand the concerns about recklessness but I trust the guys that go up against him to take all the necessary measures to avoid injury.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

There’s only so much you can do to protect yourself if the person you’re facing won’t.

      • The Breaker

So Zeb is talking about the real Santa? There’s way too many of them running around, with Henry, Sandow, and Foley!

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Foley is the real Santa. I’ve sat on this story because she’ asked me to, but I’ll tell you guys. I wanted to put it in the RIB, but she asked me not to.

My (online) friend Jen (wrestling friend, and NaNoWriMo friend) is really struggling. She went on FB and asked for help to keep the power on a few months ago. She has a young son who loves wrestling. I think she met Foley at a small meet-and-greet and talked to him. She got into a private convo on Twitter with Foley the next day.

Foley asked for her address so he could send her son a few things for Christmas. He sent a huge box full of toys, books and DVDs. I’m talking all of his books, all signed. Quite a few action figures. Over a dozen DVDs.

          Foley is Santa.

          • The Breaker

That’s an amazing story. I don’t know how anyone couldn’t be a fan of Mick Foley. The wrestler, and more importantly, the man.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

She knows how quiet Foley is about the things he does for others and didn’t want me to make a big deal out of it in a blog, but I thought you guys would like to know what a Santa he is.

Dingle! No clue why, but that’s what we call him in my house. Even Jesse refers to him that way.

If they don’t come out with a Dingle action figure soon, Sam’s going to flip! She doesn’t understand why there’s 3 Evil Marie action figures, and not one Dingle!

No clue. There’s 2 of her in white, almost the same except her hair being down in one, the front pulled up in the other. The third being her in the green ‘Poison Ivy’ looking ring gear. Just horrid!

Gotcha. As I said, I lost a lot of my wrestling history due to being ill and loosing big chunks of memory. Wish that I could go back and watch all the shows in order, and the PPVs tucked in. Really follow the storylines and the wrestling. For WWE, WCW and ECW. To me that would be a wonderful way to spend my down time.

Clearly, if JBL comes up with something clever that comes up on the app, he’s asked to repeat it when the commercial break ends. This is the second time he’s done that in less than 30 minutes.

When The Shield breaks up, what do you think Rollins’ chances are at success?

    • The Breaker

I can’t say for sure. He’s arguably the best in-ring worker out of the bunch, but he struggles on mic.

He’s the “middle child.” I’m not sure how he’ll work out by himself.

You could probably said the same thing about Daniel Bryan when he started out in the WWE.

You could say that about earlier tonight.

A Future Wrestlemania Main Event right there.

When Richard was refusing to say who he thought might be big in the future, I wrote in an RIB (about a month ago) that I was predicting we’d see Reigns and Big E fighting over the big one within 5 years in a great feud.

  • The Breaker

Big E looked great there! He has such a bright future.

Smackdown is over, and no Haven, I don’t know what to do.

      No Haven!

I’m working my way through all the old episodes of Bones, but I want Haven!

      • David Jr.

My brother watches Bones. But hey looks like you were right on the prediction about who may die on Haven.

I didn’t want to be right. I like her. Don’t think she’s really dead though.

9 months to find out if she and Duke are ok, 9 months to find out what happened to Audrey. To long.

Alright kids, I got a website to work on and attempt to rebuild. It’s been fun but I gotta run. How much fun was this? I wish I could make a habit of this! Sadly, next week, my work life returns to normal. Have a great night, guys (and gal!)

Bummer! Enjoyed having you hang out with us. SD is so much quieter, but we have fun.

    • The Breaker

Working during Christmas week? Not cool! Oh well. Take care!

I want to see roman reigns go solo. He has the package to become a star. I would also love to see new wwe divas in the lime light.
