* SmackDown opens with CM Punk talking about The Bash. He demanded an apology from Jeff Hardy for attacking him. Teddy Long comes out and announces CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy rematch at Night of Champions. He then says CM Punk & Hardy will team up tonight to take on Edge & Chris Jericho.

* Dolph Ziggler is shown backstage with Maria.
* Dolph Ziggler b. R-Truth
* Kane b. Rey Mysterio
- Kane gets the win with a chokeslam. After the match Great Khali came out an attacked Kane.
* Chris Jericho & Edge cut a promo saying that they won’t have a problem defeating CM Punk & Jeff Hardy.
* Cryme Tyme b. The Hart Dynasty
* Melina b. Layla, Michelle McCool, & Maria in a Four Way Match.
* Edge & Chris Jericho b. CM Punk & Jeff Hardy
- Punk continued to sell his eye "injury" throughout the match. Jeff finally forced him in the ring. Punk tried to tag Hardy back in, but he faked his own injury. Edge got the win via pinfall on Punk following a spear.
