WWE Studios & Lionsgate Renew Agreement; New Film Starring Big Show

Deadline is reporting that WWE Studios and Lionsgate have renewed their partnership with a six-picture deal to produce a new sextet of action films.

The new deal will begin with a film called Vendetta, which will be directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska and star Big Show.

“We’re thrilled to join forces with Michael and his WWE team on a series of modestly budgeted action films that extend our longstanding and successful partnership,” said Lionsgate Co-COO and Motion Picture Group President Steve Beeks.

WWE Studios and Lionsgate have worked together on The Condemned, See No Evil and the upcoming Leprechaun: Origins and See No Evil 2.

The new deal was negotiated by Bradley Buchanan of WWE Studios and Wendy Jaffe of Lionsgate.
