WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
– Big E Langston (c) vs. Curtis Axel
Curtis Axel is the first man to make his way down to the ring, and Axel definitely looks to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder as he makes his way down the aisle. Big E Langston is out next, and the champ gets a pretty nice reaction from the crowd.
The bell rings and we get a lock up right away. Axel clamps on a head lock, but Big E turns things around with a big takedown. Another lockup and Axel goes to work on Langston’s arm, pounding away at it before wrenching. Langston breaks Axel’s grip and tosses him across the ring. Langston backs Axel up into the corner, and catches a right hand and a couple of chops when the ref breaks it up.
Langston ducks a clothesline and hits a huge shoulder tackle before spearing Axel in the corner. Langston pops Axel up and lets him fall before hitting a big flying shoulder block. Axel bails to the outside and Langston follows, hitting a right hand to the gut before sending Axel back into the ring. Axel catches Langston with a big forearm, then spears him through the ropes out to the floor. Axel goes to the apron and leaps off with a flying forearm to wipe out Langston.
Axel brings things back into the ring and stomps away at Langston before hitting a snap mare, then whipping Langston’s neck. Axel clamps on a rear chin lock, but Langston fights up to his feet quickly. Langston tosses Axel off, avoids a kick, and hits a couple of clotheslines and a belly to belly suplex. Langston hits a big splash to Axel’s back, then pulls down the straps. Axel is able to connect with the perfect-plex, but Langston kicks out at two.
Langston runs into an elbow in the corner, and catches Axel comes off the top, but Axel fights out. Langston is able to connect with the Big Ending, and he gets the three count.
Winner and STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion: Big E Langston
Big E Langston puts the "Big Ending" on Curtis Axel… There's a pun in there. #SurvivorSeries

Big E is interviewed in the ring following the match. Big E says he doesn’t mean to pander to the fans here, in Boston, but when he won the title, and retained, it was like the Boston Red Sox winning the World Series. Of course this gets a giant (cheap) pop from the crowd.
AJ is shown backstage with Tamina. AJ says she’s been called a lot of things, but she hasn’t come this far to be taken out now. AJ says this is the time to take back the Diva’s division. She asks who’s with her. Her team is shown, and they don’t look too happy. After AJ talks down to them a bit, Kaitlyn asks why they should trust her. She’s made enemies with all of them. AJ says she doesn’t like Kaitlyn, but this is about the fact that Total Divas doesn’t want any of them, and maybe it’s because they’re not pretty enough, or they have a funny accident, or they just dance. All AJ knows is none of them are on Total Divas. She tells them to start their own show by stealing this one tonight.
