WWE Title To Be Decided At Battleground, JR Updates

WWE news and notes...

- The fate of the WWE Championship will be determined at next month's WWE Battleground pay-per-view. You can probably guess the participants but you can see how WWE handles it on this week's episode of Smackdown. Brooks Oglesby has the coverage from the taping at this link.

- If you're waiting for Jim Ross to turn off the filter on WWE regarding his "retirement," it's not going to happen. He did an interview with The MMA Hour where he spoke about his "retirement" but said nothing more than he has already written. You can check it out at this link.

- Speaking of JR, he has new blog entry with his thoughts on Monday Night Raw now online at this link.

He must have been paid a fair amount of money to keep quite about his “retirement” or maybe he even signed some sort of contract to stay quite so wwe saves face. JR will always be a wwe puppet. If he had balls he would go to TNA just to stick it to Vince, but again he’s got the strings attached to his old body. Plain and simple.

Balls have nothing to do with it. If anything, going to TNA would be a step in the wrong direction, especially now that they’re cutting paychecks left and right or outright dismissing talent. I’m pretty sure Dixie wouldn’t want to have another hefty contract on her hands.

Amen. Great move for TNA; horrid move for JR. He’d never be properly compensated.

I understand this point of view where if he went to TNA, they would have to pay him a lot of money. The fact is the guy has been embarrassed time and time again and for some odd reason he keeps bending over and taking it up the ass. They made fun of his Bell’s palsy illness, they made fun of when he had the colon surgery where Vince McMahon did that horrible segment with Dr Hyney or whatever his name was and proceeded to take out things from Jrs ass and ending with taking out JR’s own head saying his problem was that he had his head up his ass. The bottom line is the guy has no pride! That’s what’s absurd about this whole thing! So going to TNA wouldn’t be a business decision, more of a personal one, that’s what I would do if I was in his shoes.

    • It’s called not burning bridges for in case they ever want to bring him in for any special reason. Like WM 30 for example on a One-Shot deal.

JR at the end of the day is a humble professional who respects the business. Period. He has more class than Vince could ever dream of.
