Early projections for the WWE TLC 2012 buyrate are in at this link. The show did an estimated 170,000 buys, down from 179,000 the year prior and 195,000 the show did in 2010.

WWE TLC 2012 was headlined by The Shield vs. Ryback & Team Hell No after CM Punk vs. Ryback for the WWE title was changed due to Punk’s knee surgery.

    Wow, I can’t believe that crappy throw away of a PPV sold that much. I understand why CM Punk had his surgery and I understand they tried getting the Shield more over, but on a PPV it’s make or break and that was just a complete waste of money.
