WWE Using Charles Robinson To Try & Sell Horrible Finish To John Cena vs. Ryback

WWE even has referee Charles Robinson trying to convince fans of the horrible finish to John Cena vs. Ryback. The following is from Robinson's Twitter account, which was Re-Tweeted by WWE:

The finish to Cena vs. Ryback was mind-boggling. No way Ryback can leave on his feet without the title. A complete injustice to anyone that ordered the PPV and to Cena and Ryback that actually had a good match going. If WWE had to show their blatant lack of confidence in Ryback, then he does a stretcher job too. Ridiculous. Absurd. Horrible.

You can't have a Last Man Standing Match, with one man left standing and not give him the title.

  • Is WWE actually trying to use kayfabe? How dare they!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Jay

WWE used Kayfabe! It wasn’t very effective…

      • Cena made Ryback look good. It worked

  • jj

This is another moment in wwe where they could use this angle and turn cena heel but knowing wwe they won’t

    • Matt

Ok, how? He wasnt screwed, he wasn’t robbed. I don’t get your logic here? People need to stop expecting a Cena heel turn! It’s highly unlikely it won’t. Just enjoy the other aspects of TV (The Shield) that are worth tuning in for.

I called this a long time ago. i said it would be a draw after a big spot…. i think we expect to much sometimes things like this are easy to see coming

    • Snap

It’s not that it ultimately ended up being a draw, but Ryback getting to
his feet while Cena was stretchered out without even a count being
made. That would be like having a cage match with one guy escaping the
cage and the match being thrown out because the guy in the ring was

  • John

They were both down for like 5 minutes, never mind 10 seconds… What’s the issue here exactly?

Richard, I don’t remember you reacting with such anger over the finish to the last man standing match at the Royal Rumble when Alberto Del Rio duct-taped Big Show’s feet to the bottom rope… That was by far more ridiculous and absurd than this one between Cena and Ryback.

Give me a controversial ending over a lame one any day!
