Adam Rose Posts Letter From Doctor About Adderall XR Prescription

Adam Rose posted the following letter from his doctor in response to his 60-day suspension from WWE for his second violation of their Wellness Policy. The letter reveals the suspension stems from testing positive for Adderall XR. Here’s the note:

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this letter on behalf of Adam Rose (Ray Leppan - D.O.B. 7/20/79), whom I have treated since 4/30/15. He has chronic signs and symptoms of ADHD, determined through a very thorough physical exam on 4/30/15. He takes Adderall XR , which is an FDA-approved treatment for ADHD, and we have followed all standard of care protocols during his treatment, which has gone very well. He takes his medication as prescribed, and he is compliant with my treatment recommendations.

Sincerely,

Charles DeVine, M.D.

CJ first reported Rose’s suspension last month here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com. He later stated WWE was not right to suspend him.

Adderall XR is Schedule II controlled substance.

You know what is sad? I feel like he’ll get massive heat still backstage, if anything more heat because he’s showing the flaws in WWE’s wellness policy and he’s going to social media to clear his name. Lord knows WWE probably wouldn’t have done it on their own. They’ll remove the strike from his record but I would bet money that he’s not going to see a televised event again for a long time, if ever.

I always doubted the WP ever since some questionable suspensions and non-suspensions that warranted suspensions by their own standards.

It’s was too faux-NFL to be believed, imo. All of WWE’s recent corporate moves have been to imitate the NFL in programming and policy.
