When I watch AJ Styles I feel that he is not only the best in world but can carry a brand on his back. What are your thoughts on him?

AJ Styles is one of the most talented workers in the world and I absolutely agree, he is more than capable to carry a brand on his back. I’ve been told that he’s won Vince McMahon over and that he wishes he would have signed him a decade ago. The problem is he just keeps losing. I realize WWE doesn’t care about wins and losses, especially for heel talent, but I can’t help but feel his potential is being wasted. Last week I was hard on WWE about getting guys to the main event but refusing to put them over the big names. Styles is there but he needs another boost to be booked with confidence. A possible victory against John Cena at SummerSlam would be a massive step in the right direction. Styles is 39 years old and his back isn’t in the best shape. The time is now if WWE is going to push him at the top.

Do you think Zack Ryder's push will continue now that he's been drafted to SmackDown? Seems plausible, especially with Mojo Rawley there.

I loved Zack Ryder’s tribute to Sting at WWE Battleground and am glad to see the possible formation of The Hype Bros on Smackdown, however, I am not confident in WWE’s ability to push him. They’ve given it a half-hearted try before and haven’t done much with him since. He’s one of the guys that is very underutilized by the company. The presence of Mojo Rawley on Smackdown is my only hope that Ryder will get something but I am not overly optimistic.

What are the details on WWE’s tour of China?

WWE is returning to China for a live event on September 10, 2016 from the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai. While the brands are now split, John Cena, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are all advertised for the show. Official event information is available at this link. The company is committed to expanding in China as they have signed a new Chinese talent by the name of Bin Wang and have a deal that carries Raw and Smackdown in Mandarin. The official details on WWE’s expansion in China are available at this link.

Can you update on WWE talent that were not involved in the Draft? What about Renee Young?

Renee Young will be featured on Smackdown. The Rock, Undertaker and Triple H were not assigned to brands because of their part-time status. Brie Bella is out on hiatus, Ryback is on his way out, Paul Heyman doesn’t have a contract but is expected to be with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, Rosa Mendes is on maternity leave and Heath Slater has the “not drafted” storyline. The rest are out with injuries and include the following - Emma (back), Luke Harper (torn ACL), Nikki Bella (neck), Tamina Snuka (torn ligaments) and Tyson Kidd (neck).
