Do you believe Smackdown should have a two-person commentary team if that's truly what Fox wants? If so, who should it be?

I think the two-person commentary teams are my favorite. I don’t dislike the three-person teams, but I grew up on two people on the headset and I guess my mentality is just stuck there. I think it allows for more one on one conversation and less instances of people talking over each other. It feels more like a private conversation that we the fans get to listen in on. It also allows for an old school, face play by play and heel color commentator. It’s a good dynamic that I’ve never seen a need to change. Three-person teams are fine, especially when they all have strong personalities, but like I said I’m old school and like two-person booths.

Is Dean Ambrose’s situation a work?

I assume you mean Dean leaving after WrestleMania. Personally, I do see it as a work. I don’t think Dean is leaving WWE. He has close friends in WWE, his wife works for WWE, and he has a passion for professional wrestling like very few do. Plus, it’s very strange for WWE to announce MONTHS ahead of time that a wrestler is leaving the company. In reality, WWE would work tirelessly to re-sign that person or allow them out of their contract early if there was a big issue. A big star like Ambrose would get all the love from WWE. He’d get extra love from WWE to try and convince him to stay. Not a handshake and a “don’t let the door hit you on the way out” treatment. I’m convince it’s going to turn into a storyline but I’m just waiting to see how it plays out.

Why is Torrie Wilson going into the Hall of Fame? What achievement has she done besides posing for Playboy and looking pretty?

I’m glad you asked this because I just posted an article earlier today covering this very topic. The bottom line is that Torrie Wilson absolutely deserves to go in the Hall of Fame. She earned her spot there. Torrie Wilson was a damn good entertainer and never forget the “E” in WWE stands for entertainment. You can be a great entertainer and a poor wrestler and still make it in WWE, where as you can’t be a great wrestler with no ability to entertain. Wilson is one of the first women who comes to mind when you think about women in the Ruthless Aggression era. Torrie Wilson, Stacey Kiebler, Melina, Beth Phoenix, and Victoria are some of the first who come to mind for me. That’s Hall of Fame worthy in my book. People act like because she wasn’t a Grade A technical wrestler that she doesn’t deserve to go in the Hall of Fame, even though women in that era were lucky to get a 3-minute match. Was she a sex symbol? Yes. Did she pose for Playboy? Yes. (For the record, I don’t remember anyone saying Shawn Michaels shouldn’t be in the HOF because he was in Playgirl.) Does that mean she shouldn’t be recognized for being one of the most entertaining women in the Ruthless Aggression era? Hell no! I understand that there are other women that people think should go in the Hall of Fame. They will guys, this isn’t the last year for the Hall of Fame. Torrie deserves to go in.

Where is Lars Sullivan? There was hype in February but nothing since?

From everything we’ve heard Lars was suffering from very bad anxiety about being called up to the main roster. Since then Lars has been taking time to mentally recover and prepare himself for a main roster call up. When it was decided he couldn’t make it up in time, they delayed his call up until after WrestleMania. We’ve heard that WWE has been very understanding and accommodating to Lars on the issue.

Is WWE calling up too much talent from NXT?

I do think that it was extremely odd to bring up 5 NXT workers only to then soon after call-up the 4 major NXT names before WrestleMania. Personally, I would’ve called up Black, Gargano, Ciampa and Ricochet after WrestleMania, as people tend to look to that first Raw after Mania as “call up” day. It seems that the original 5 have been totally lost in the shuffle with Heavy Machinery being the only ones consistently with focus. Nikki, EC3, and Lacey have all been lost in the shuffle. Lacey has yet to do anything other than a runway walk, EC3 has had a few matches that meant nothing and Nikki is in the same boat as EC3. I’m afraid they’ve all been sentenced to an immediate lower midcard position.

Do you think this Ronda stuff going off about how wrestling is fake a work or a shoot in your opinion?

I can confidently say I have no idea. I watched the video and I have to say that I’m not a fan of how it was done whether it was real or fake. The way I see it, if it was real then it’s Ronda not being able to stand the “pressure” of WWE, cracking, and crapping all over a sport she claimed to love. If it was done in kayfabe, then it was WWE calling itself out as fake and making itself seem weaker than MMA as a sport. Either way, it just left me with a gross feeling after watching it. It’s one of those situations where I don’t think anyone benefits. Rousey might get more over as a heel but at the expense of the entire sport. Even Brock Lesnar has never made himself seem “above” WWE because he fought in UFC. WWE is always put on an equal playing field as UFC when Lesnar and Heyman talk about Brock’s dominance. This felt like Ronda was saying she was better than WWE because of her UFC history.
