We all know that LeBron James is a wrestling fan, could you see him having a role in WWE after he retires from basketball?

LeBron James is so athletic he could pick his sport and excel at it and yes, I think he would have success in pro wrestling. NBA players have made the transition in the past and WWE would more than welcome King James to their world, however, he's got plenty left in the tank and is focused on winning NBA titles at the moment. WWE has actually wanted to get LeBron involved in a storyline for a major pay-per-view but the hangup has been with scheduling. The thinking is WWE would have to do it at SummerSlam before the start of the NBA season; however, there is nothing in the works between the two parties at this time.

With only one main belt now, is there a possibility (the thought comes up every year) to do a Money in the Bank match at Wrestlemania?

Anything is possible but I don't see WWE doing the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania due to the pay-per-view now carrying the stipulation. There was talk over the last couple of years the match could return to help bolster the Wrestlemania undercard but it never came to fruition. My thinking here is opposite as with only one title, that's going to mean one less Money in the Bank ladder match so the company will work even harder not to overexpose it.

With the return of Batista, do you see a possible Shield vs. Evolution storyline happening? WWE has all the stars to do it.

WWE will look to utilize Batista in a main event singles role upon his return to the company. Evolution was a way to introduce him to the WWE audience as a main event competitor. That's not to say we'll never see Evolution again because we never say never but WWE will look to utilize his singles drawing power.

Is Batista coming back full time or part time?

Batista's coming back under a part-time deal where he will work WWE live events. Remember it was his name included on advanced promotional material for WWE live events that spoiled his return to the company in the first place. This is Batista's retirement tour that I've expected since he left WWE in 2010.

Do you think there is a strong possibility of Daniel Bryan facing Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXX?

Assuming The Undertaker is Wrestlemania ready, the preliminary plan is a singles match at Wrestlemania XXX against Brock Lesnar. Plans are subject to change, however, I haven't heard Undertaker vs. Bryan mentioned. Vince McMahon still wants to do Daniel Bryan vs. Shawn Michaels if Michaels will agree to work. If not, expect to see Bryan work Bray Wyatt.

From the Ask WNW vault…

February 2013: How much will the WWE Network cost? - There was a major development in the WWE Network recently as DirecTV has begun surveying customers about their interest in the network. As I stated in the Premium Mailbag, a deal with DirecTV would mean enough clearance to launch. In their survey to customers, DirecTV listed the following price points: $29.99, $24.99, $19.99, $16.99 and $12.99. We heard (and reported) WWE was hoping to launch the network at a cheaper price and raising it through incremental increases.

The next installment of Ask WNW is scheduled to run on Monday, January 6, 2014.
