Do you see Daniel Bryan working Extreme Rules on Sunday?

WWE had the announcers say this week on Raw that Daniel Bryan would defend the Intercontinental Championship against Bad News Barrett at Extreme Rules on Sunday health permitting. While the company is acknowledging his injury status in storyline, they haven’t clarified the issue. Rumors suggest Bryan suffered a concussion but no one in WWE is confirming that.

The only thing we’ve been told officially is that Bryan was removed from the European tour as a precautionary measure. However, when WWE booked his flight home last week the word making rounds was that he had a head injury. In fact, I’m told his emergency reservation included the remarks he was being sent home because of a “head injury.”

Given the fact Daniel Bryan suffered a serious injury in the summer of 2013 that could have ended his career last year, any situation regarding Daniel Bryan’s health is cause for concern. However, I hate it when I see people comment that “Daniel Bryan is finished” or his “career is over.” That’s reckless and irresponsible.

As of now, Bryan is officially listed as “questionable” for the pay-per-view on Sunday. If this was a serious issue where he had lost strength in his arm again, one would think the Intercontinental Championship match would have been removed from Sunday’s pay-per-view.

Bryan wasn't at Raw on Monday and isn't expected at the tapings tonight.
