Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns, no Universal Championship?

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns, it’s happening, and I think we’ve all accepted it by now. At WerestleMania 34, Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns will happen, but does the match need the Universal Championship?

Lesnar and Reigns, are two of the most dominant forces in the WWE today. Both men have held numerous championships, and have headlined some of WWE’s biggest events. Also, there is something else these two have in common. They beat The Undertaker, at WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania 30 Brock Lesnar did the unthinkable, when he ended the Undertaker's undefeated (21-0) streak. Jump ahead three years to WrestleMania 33, where Roman Reigns (for now anyway) retired The Undertaker. Lesnar and Reigns, they are the only two men that can say they beat The Undertaker, at WrestleMania. Their victories over The Undertaker alone, are enough to promote this match.

The booking for Lesnar vs Reigns is actually quite simple. The match asks the age old question, “who's the toughest kid on the play ground?” It’s really that simple. Lesnar and Reigns, both defeated a man that dominated WWE for over 20 year; now let’s see who’s tougher.

Now, question is, how will all this go down?

The easiest way this happens, is at the Royal Rumble. For this to work Brock Lesnar will drop the Universal Championship, to Braun Strowman or Kane. Then, during the Royal Rumble match, Brock Lesnar will be an entrant, along with Reigns. Reigns will first eliminate Lesnar from the match, then, Lesnar will return to the ring and return the favor.

In the weeks that follow Paul Heyman's promo's will make this match about dominace and supremacy, over WWE. Heyman promo's will also make this match about their victories over The Undertaker, and which man will truly claim his yard. Of course, there will also be a few brawls along the way.

Lesnar vs Reigns at WrestleMania 34, no championship is needed. This match should simply be about dominance.
