Hello everyone and welcome back to WNW! We are beginning a new installment for each week's Raw and Smackdown Live. We will be going over each show's Hits and Misses. Thank you all and let's get right to it!

HITS

Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle Segment:

I want to go ahead and state that I am not a fan of Kurt Angle's promo skills. It comes off as choppy and non- believable. I'm giving this segment a hit because it was good to see Stephanie McMahon back. She built Kurt up just to drag him back down threatening Kurt and his job if he fails Raw. It was a nice touch to name him Team Captain for the Survivor Series Match. I can only suspect that Shane will be named captain for his team as well.

Samoa Joe Return:

Thankfully, Samoa Joe is back. We haven't seen Joe in a few months and hopefully he can find his way back up to the main event. His promo was short and sweet. He had a nice squash match against Apollo Crews, which was needed. He's a monster. Hopefully, he will be put on the Raw Survivor Series Team. Thereafter, he deserves to be in the Universal Championship picture soon.

The Miz vs Matt Hardy for the Intercontinental Champion:

Good match from Miz and Matt. I never had any doubt that Miz would win. I mean, he went against Matt Hardy, but I will get to him in the Miss column. As for the match quality, I'm giving this a hit because the two had good chemistry and both put in a good effort.

Asuka:

What can I say? I'm a sucker for some squash matches. It's good to see have Asuka being built up and keeping her streak. I didn't want to see her jump to the main roster and be rushed into the Women's Title picture. Keep it up WWE - I'm enjoying what you've done with Asuka so far.

Daniel Bryan:

With Bryan visiting Raw, it intrigued me. I'm not sure what to think. Part of me wants to think he really is going try to keep peace between Raw and Smackdown but then part of me doesn't think that at all. I've been hearing things about them turning Bryan so it will be fun to see where this is going to end up.

Nia Jax vs Bayley

After all the rumors and speculation of her departure of the company, Nia is finally back. The match between her and Bayley was ok but not terrible. It would've been better if the match was not as competitive as it ended up being overall. Nonetheless, I enjoyed watching it.

Alexa Bliss vs Mickie James for the Women's Championship:

A good match from the two. I believe that their match from TLC was better but this was still good. I like to see the women get the spotlight to have the last match of the night.

MISSES:

Braun Strowman's Return:

Okay - at TLC, Braun Strowman was compacted in a dumpster truck and makes his return eight days later? What kind of booking is that?! I'm sorry but I don't like it. I think Strowman is awesome and his destruction of the Miztourage was good but his return should've been held off. In my opinion, it should've been put off until after Survivor Series.

Finn Balor vs Cesaro:

As for the match, it was good but I just don't care. Why should I? Finn has no direction and is just tossed in the middle of things. As for Cesaro and Sheamus, I like them together as a team but this match just felt like a filler for me.

Kane:

Why is Kane being booked as a monster? I can't take it serious because the Kane character has been through so much over the years. The last time I saw Kane before his break he was in a corporate suit. Now he has been going on rampages burying Balor and everyone in front of him.

Trick or Street Fight:

I have no words for this. Happy Halloween?

Matt Hardy:

With the unfortunate injury of Jeff Hardy, this could be a good time for Matt to shine. We all know what he is capable of (his "broken" persona). He was the hottest act in all of wrestling at the end of 2016 and start of 2017. Now fast-forward months later and he is just a mid carder. It's shameful.

Elias and Jason Jordan:

Week in and week out it's the same for these two. I feel like I don't have to watch their matches or segments and I still would know what happened. I think Elias has potential but he needs more people to work with. If not, he will just stay where he's at. Sigh.

Cruiserweights:

The only good thing I have to say about the Cruiserweights is Drew Gulak. His promos for Enzo are laugh-out-loud funny.
