Welcome to WNW’s Survivor Series 2015 Predictions! Survivor Series will be emanating this year from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia! This time around, we have CJ Blaze, Jamie Welton, Zack Krasney, providing full predicts, while myself, Kendra, and her daughter Sam are doing quick picks. Also, note that in the predictions, there is announced Traditional Survivor Series match that we are not including due to the participants not being announced. Let's get to it!

Diva’s Championship Match:

Charlotte © vs. Paige

CJ:

It’s amazing to think that this Divas Championship match has probably received the best build out of any match on the card. I know that these two will deliver, and I hope they are given plenty of time to shine. Remember the Divas Title match from last year’s Survivor Series? Nikki Bella took the title from AJ Lee in 30 seconds. I highly doubt we’ll see something similar. In fact, we should see the exact opposite. I’m confident that Charlotte will beat Paige because her reign is still gaining steam. After Survivor Series, WWE should really look to up the ante with the Divas Revolution... At TLC, Paige can challenge Charlotte for the title again in a TLC-themed match!

CJ’s Predicted Winner: Charlotte

Jamie:

There is no question this match is being talked about headed into Sunday, but sadly it’s being talked about for all the wrong reasons. All the attention on this match right now is solely centered around Paige’s comment to Charlotte regarding the death of her brother Reid during the final segment of Raw on Monday. Without getting too deep into it it seemed evident to me that throughout the segment neither Paige or Charlotte looked comfortable and I think the fact creative felt the need to implement someone’s death into the build is just awful. I don’t blame Paige at all, she was just doing what she was asked.

Focusing more on the match between these two I’m expecting a classic Divas match to take place, which will hopefully remove the negative vibes surrounding this encounter. Both Paige and Charlotte are without question the top two Divas in WWE when it comes to wrestling ability and I am more than confident they will bring the personal feel of the build into this one to make it a match to remember. When it comes to picking a winner I’m kind of torn but if I’m pushed I feel Paige is going to walk out your new Divas Champion. Long live the Anti Diva!

Jamie’s Predicted Winner: Paige

Zack:

There is a lot of controversy surrounding Charlotte this week because of what happened on Raw. For those who missed it there was an insensitive comment about Charlotte’s brother who passed away. But that's not what I want to focus on in this prediction. Charlotte and Paige are two of the best workers in the divas division right now. I know people are pushing for Sasha Banks. But you have to realize not everyone can be in the championship picture at once. It is odd to think of Paige as the veteran here but she is. Charlotte has such raw talent that she brings just as high a level to this match as Paige does. We should be in for a great match with this one, but would like to think that Charlotte won't lose her first match as champion, and that the company wouldn't take the title of her so quickly. Charlotte will win and go on to continue leading the divas revolution.

Zack’s Predicted Winner: Charlotte

Jesse’s Predicted Winner: Charlotte

Kendra’s Predicted Winner: Charlotte

Sam’s Predicted Winner: Charlotte

Tyler Breeze vs. Dolph Ziggler:

CJ:

Tyler Breeze is set to compete in his first pay-per-view match against Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series. There seems to be several fans out there that are not pleased because they think both stars need the win. I think this is a must-win situation for Breeze as he already went under to Dean Ambrose in his debut match on Raw a couple weeks ago. A loss for Ziggler really won’t kill him because he doesn’t have any momentum going anyway. I wish Summer Rae wasn’t involved, but I’m sure she’ll find a way to interfere.

CJ’s Predicted Winner: Tyler Breeze

Jamie:

These two have only really just got their feud started but so far their work together has been nothing short of amazing. I had the pleasure of watching them face off at a house show event when WWE were in the UK last week and they put on a solid performance that saw Ziggler pick up the win. The interesting thing about this one for me is I see Breeze as a talent similar to a young Dolph Ziggler; he has the look and all the charisma and ability to be a top star. He just needs that big moment to really help launch him and I feel that Ziggler can help provide him with one of those moments early on. As for this match I feel that Breeze needs the win in this one more than Ziggler does, especially given that Breeze is working on establishing himself at this early stage of his career and a loss here would be quite harmful to him going forward. I don’t expect it to be clean by any means but I’m definitely look at a victory for Prince Pretty with another match taking place at TLC.

Jamie’s Predicted Winner: Tyler Breeze

Zack:

This match is Dolph Ziggler versus Dolph Ziggler Junior. I'm glad that Dolph has gotten away from that terrible summer rivalry with Rusev that he was in. While this still includes Summer Rae, we are much better off. I'm excited to see what Tyler does on the big stage. I think he's going to hit it out of the park. He plays his role so well that he is only destined for success. His gimmick is also one that won't limit him strictly to the middle of the card. He can take that gimmick all the way to the WWE championship. The match itself should be a great one considering both men know their way around the ring very well, and have similar styles. I think since it's his debut pay-per-view match, Breeze takes home the victory.

Zack’s Predicted Winner: Tyler Breeze

Jesse’s Predicted Winner: Tyler Breeze

Kendra’s Predicted Winner: Tyler Breeze

Sam’s Predicted Winner: Dolph Ziggler

The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane) vs. two members of The Wyatt Family:

CJ:

I’m very disappointed that the build for this tag bout has been lackluster, in my opinion. Week in and week out, WWE gave us repetition. The Wyatt Family would talk some nonsense that was hard to follow, and then The Brothers of Destruction would make their presence felt. Am I missing the mystique or did WWE fail to make this interesting? As far as The Wyatt Family goes, I believe Bray Wyatt or Luke Harper should be in the match at least. Either way, I almost don’t care who wins. Will the outcome have implications on WrestleMania 32? Will Sting appear? Regardless, I believe the two members of The Wyatt Family will find a way to win.

CJ’s Predicted Winner: The Wyatt Family

Jamie:

This match has been building since Hell in a Cell when the Wyatt’s attacked Undertaker after his match with Brock Lesnar, and then attacking Kane the following night on Raw. The Brothers of Destruction made their surprise return to WWE two weeks ago on Raw in the UK and cleaned house with the Wyatt’s. While we expected this one to be a traditional Survivor Series style match it’s now been booked as a two on two tag team match. I expect the two members of the Wyatt’s to face Undertaker and Kane will be Bray and Strowman, or Harper and Bray at a push. Strowman and Bray makes more sense to me though given Strowman is the powerhouse and Bray is of course the leader whom Kane and Taker will want revenge on. As for the outcome of this one I think it’s difficult for WWE to really creatively book this one. The only outcome I can see is a Wyatt victory that would see Kane taking the pinfall for his team. I guess that could then set up for another match at TLC or maybe something at the Royal Rumble between the teams. Whatever the outcome on Sunday I can guarantee this is going to be one heck of an awesome match and hopefully a fitting tribute to the 25 year legacy of Undertaker.

Jamie’s Predicted Winner: The Wyatt Family

Zack:

WWE had some real potential with this match, but they completely dropped the ball. Bray Wyatt is still doing everything he can to make this rivalry great, but the writing just doesn't back it up. It's like having a movie with great actors and a terrible director. It's still worth watching, but it doesn't fill its full potential. WWE also had the opportunity to add in some great fresh blood. Guys like Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, or countless others. Instead WWE decided to do a 2 vs. 2 tag team match. Like I said earlier, there was a lot of potential for a traditional survivor series match between the Wyatts and Brother of Destruction. Alas, WWE dropped the ball. I think we see Undertaker and Kane go over. After the loss the Undertaker suffered at Hell in a Cell, he'll come out on top and this one, even if it is at the expense of Bray. Have to make sure Undertaker looks good for Wrestlemania season.

Zack’s Predicted Winner: Brothers of Destruction

Jesse’s Predicted Winner: Brothers of Destruction, via DQ

Kendra’s Predicted Winner: Brothers of Destruction

Sam’s Predicted Winner: Brothers of Destruction

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semi-Finals:

Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose

CJ:

This bout should’ve happened regardless of Seth Rollins’ injury as we saw the feud begin to take shape on TV a few weeks ago. The only difference is Kevin Owens’ title isn’t on the line. Owens and Ambrose will most likely put on the better of the two semi-final matches just because of their hard-hitting and unique styles. I can see either man moving on, but I really do want to see Ambrose win for the right to face Reigns in the main event.

CJ’s Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose

Jamie:

Of the two semi final matches due to take place in the hunt for the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion, this is the one I am most looking forward to seeing. Both Ambrose and Owens have worked great matches to get to this point, with Ambrose getting past Tyler Breeze and Dolph Ziggler to reach this round, while Owens had an easier route in the first round by getting past Titus O’Neill, before having a more difficult match with Neville. These two have great minds when it comes to psychology and putting on a great match which I believe is going to all but help make this one the match of the night to watch. I think it’s going to have plenty of drama and near falls but for things to pan out for the final I want to see, I think you have to look no further than a Dean Ambrose victory. I expect this one to be the match that kicks off the show and will no question set the bar for things to come.

Jamie’s Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose

Zack:

This match has the potential to be one of the best of the night, hands-down. WWE considered giving us this rivalry before Seth Rollins hurt his knee. We got a fast forward in time to see this match a bit early. I am very much looking forward to it because both men can deliver. It's interesting because from everything we've heard Roman Reigns will face off against Dean Ambrose in the final match. Here's the thing though, my gut tells me that Vince just can't get behind Dean Ambrose for some absurd reason I can't explain. While he's not Kevin Owens biggest fan either, I think that things will end up going with the traditional baby face versus heel match in the end. I think we end up seeing Owens pull out the victory.

Zack’s Predicted Winner: Kevin Owens

Jesse’s Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose

Kendra’s Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose

Sam’s Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semi-Finals:

Roman Reigns vs. Alberto Del Rio

CJ:

This was the one semi-final match that everyone expected. It was all but guaranteed that Roman Reigns would make it to this point in the tournament. And there really wasn’t anyone “worthy” of making it to the semi-final besides Cesaro or Alberto Del Rio. I’m hoping we see a decent match between these two to set up Reigns moving on to the finals because there’s absolutely no reason for Del Rio to move on.

CJ’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Jamie:

Match two of the semi-finals for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship sees the United States champion Alberto Del Rio go up against the man many consider to be the outright favorite to win the whole tournament in Roman Reigns. To get to this stage of the tournament Alberto Del Rio had to get past Stardust and Kalisto, so he had a pretty easy pas to this stage. Reigns on the other hand had to get through Big Show and Cesaro to get to this point, meaning he really had to earn his way there. I’m not really sure what to expect from this match but I’m hoping both men can put on an interesting contest. Del Rio looks in tremendous shape since his show return to WWE last month at Hell in a Cell, while Roman Reigns has continued to put on solid matches despite being on the receiving end of a crowd backlash. I think there’s only one clear winner in this one and that is Roman Reigns, which will help set up a final between Reigns and his friend and former Shield team mate, Dean Ambrose.

Jamie’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Zack:

So this which will be interesting because clearly Reigns is the odds-on favorite to win. But Del Rio is someone there trying to reestablish as a new heel. It will also show the difference between a match with Cesaro and a match with Del Rio. I do have to reluctantly say that since Alberto has returned he has impressed me with a better luck, and more aggressive in ring style. I will be interested to see how this match turns out, it certainly has my interest peaked. Clearly Roman will move onto the next round so my choice is obvious.

Zack’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Jesse’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Kendra’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Sam’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Finals:

TBA

CJ:

Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose

For the first time ever, we will see Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose standing on opposite sides of the ring in the main event. I have no doubt that these two will provide us with a great back-and-forth battle to prove who is worthy of being WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Walking in, I’m expecting this to still be babyface vs. babyface. But walking out? I see Dean Ambrose turning heel, and Roman Reigns walking out as the champion. I know fans want to see Reigns turn heel, but that’s only so they can boo him. WWE is in desperate need of a top babyface name, and Reigns is ready.

CJ’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Jamie:

Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose

So the main event of the night all comes down to this. A meeting of two best friends who both have the same goal in mind; to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the first time in their careers. Reigns has definitely got the advantage when it comes to big fight feels, having come so close at Wrestlemania 31 before being piped to the title by Seth Rollins. This won’t be the first time Ambrose has been in a match with so much on the line but this is without question his biggest and most important match to date. This one is going to be full of passion, entertainment, drama, twists and turns without a doubt, and the most important part of this match is the finish which I expect will see the winner turn heel and potentially align themselves with The Authority. I can argue the reasons why either man should be champion but when I think about it there really is only one logical outcome, and that is Roman Reigns wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a screw job style win similar to how WWE turned The Rock back in 1998. If Ambrose wins then I see a Sheamus cash in and Reigns costing Ambrose the title, but my prediction is definitely a Roman Reigns victory....And you can believe that!

Jamie’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Zack:

Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens

This match is another match that could be great for Roman’s look. Guys like Owens can carry Roman and make him look even better than he already does. I think there's still a chance we could see a Dean Ambrose turn in this match, when he comes out and attacks. He could either attack Roman and they could go straight for the turn, or he could attack Owens for what happened in their match earlier, to seek revenge. This could lead to Roman slowly turning on Dean. But that means WWE would have to strap Kevin Owens, more than likely, and I don't think they would do that. I think we see Roman come out on top in a very traditional, very WWE style way. Everyone is expecting a big turn, but to be honest WWE creative does things so plain and boring in the last year, that I don't see them doing anything except for a John Cena-like victory for Roman Reigns. Hopefully that isn't the case but we will see. I have learned to keep my expectations low with WWE when they have big opportunities like this one.

Zack’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Jesse’s Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns, aligning with The Authority

Kendra’s Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose

Sam’s Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose
