Welcome to WNW’s WrestleMania 33 Predictions! This year's WrestleMania will be emanating from the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. This time around, we have an all-star prediction group including myself, Kendra Bunyon, Zack Krasney, Morgan "The Retro Goat" Hench, Elizabeth Sherwood, Brendan Wahl, Big M, Zeppelin Mayers, Joshua Tucker, Chris Surrency, and Thomas Fenton. And as always, The Queen has provided us with her entertaining photos! Let’s get to it!

4th Annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal (Kickoff)

20170330_211311

Zack:

Instead of analyzing this match I’m just going to shame WWE for not having a real match for the following wrestlers. Sami Zayn. SHAME! Big Show. SHAME! Dolph Ziggler. SHAME! American Alpha. SHAME! BRAUN FREAKIN STROWMAN! SHAAAME!

Zack's Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

Joshua:

This match is pretty pointless. It’s the get everyone on the show to get their bonus check match. Braun should win it.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

The Retro Goat:

If you win, you get no push and you have to carry around a six foot trophy made of butter. But show bonuses for everybody! Remember when Money in the Bank was the Wrestlemania show bonus match? That match was (and still is) so much fun. This is just a throwaway inconsequential match made solely to give people doing nothing the show bonus. Which technically means it's for a good cause, but we're still subjected to a pointless match every year now. Really not much of a memorial. Only man in the match with momentum is Braun Strowman, and big guys are most likely to win this battle royal, so it's a safe and boring bet for a really boring match.

The Retro Goat's Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

Chris:

In what could be the most pointless of all matches, the battle royal for the big gold statue. Basically, what I think this is used for this year is building up Braun more. Pretty simply, he wins by destroying all competition. Last elimination is Big Show, who he pulls a Kane on and carries across the ring to drop out on his own.

Chris' Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

Big M:

Like most people I could care less about this! But if you insist on knowing who I think will win it…Braun Strowman.

Big M's Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman (Anyone else would be a travesty. Sami fired on Raw for losing, and goes to SD.)

CJ's Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

Brendan's Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

Zeppelin's Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

Elizabeth's Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

Thomas' Predicted Winner: Braun Strowman

Cruiserweight Championship Match (Kickoff)
Neville (c) vs. Austin Aries

20170330_201446

Kendra:

I don't think there's any question who will win this match. As great of a heel as Neville is, he's no A Double. The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived will take The Man Gravity Forgot, and give us a possible WrestleMania stealing match. These two will be utter greatness, exactly what WrestleMania is supposed to be, beyond getting absolutely everyone on the roster the biggest show bonus of the year.

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Austin Aries

Zack:

I’m going to be totally honest here, and this is basically committing IWC suicide. I don’t really care about this match. I’m sure it’ll be good and all, but I don’t really care. I’m also not really sold on Austin Aries. Again, IWC suicide. He’s great on the microphone no doubt, but from what I’ve seen in the ring he’s fine. Maybe that’s a WWE thing, I’ve never seen him in TNA or anything else for that matter. WrestleMania will be the best way for him to prove me wrong, but so far I’m meh. However, I’m loving the heel Neville, I just wish they’d make him more of a badass, let him go nuts on a few more guys and just destroy them. I’m not excited, but I am hopeful. I trust the opinion of the group that this match will be great and since I have a low bar set I’m hoping it’ll be even better for me. I think they’re going to put the title on Austin and let him be the face of the divison.

Zack's Predicted Winner: Austin Aries

Joshua:

As always It’s the title or nothing pretty much for the division. It’s sad to see the state it’s in but if anyone can give the division a boost, it would be The Greatest Man That Ever Lived. Austin Aries is amazing and WWE fans that never got to see him will get to see just that in this run as he elevates the division and then breaks out.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Austin Aries

The Retro Goat:

I'm really disappointed this is on the pre-show. This is a rare match that has quality wrestling, a good storyline, worthwhile stakes, and no excess of stipulations or participants. Considering the two competitors, if they have a decent amount of allotted time, they're absolutely going to do everything they can to steal the show. Honestly, of all the matches on the card, it wouldn't surprise me if this is the one that accomplished that. Sure as hell isn't gonna be Goldberg VS Lesnar. While I have no issue with A-Double winning the title, I think Neville's reign has given the Cruiserweight Division its proper linchpin, and I don't think a face Austin Aries can retain that. Austin Aries is amazing, no doubt, but he works so much better as a heel. So while I think Austin Aries will hold several titles, I believe Neville should keep the title and the momentum. Granted, there really aren't any other decent faces to challenge him, but there also aren't any decent heels to challenge Austin Aries. So for now I'm staying with Neville. He deserves this.

The Retro Goat's Predicted Winner: Neville

Chris:

I know the easy pick here is Aries, and god knows the man deserves a WrestleMania moment, but I have a different idea, and it would involve building Neville more. This match will be amazing, we know this, I think Neville has to win (and win for months on end) and carry the Cruiserweight title while the US title swaps twice over the summer (more on that later), and the Universal swaps places. Neville eventually sets hissights on the US title at Summer Slam as the "longest reigning champion in the company." In order for this to happen, he needs this win Sunday.

Chris' Predicted Winner: Neville

CJ's Predicted Winner: Austin Aries

Brendan's Predicted Winner: Austin Aries

Big M's Predicted Winner: Neville

Zeppelin's Predicted Winner: Neville

Elizabeth's Predicted Winner: Austin Aries

Thomas' Predicted Winner: Austin Aries

Raw Tag Team Championship Ladder Match
Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (c) vs. Sheamus & Cesaro vs. Enzo & Big Cass

20170330_202444

Kendra:

With the Usos in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal, not having a match of their own, and all the Hardy rumors flying, something big has to happen, but I'm not even going to try to predict what that might be. So, they have been doing somewhat better with the Tag Division on Raw, but not great. They're just really dropping the ball, which I know happens every year between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, but at this point nether show has enough on the roster for a solid Tag Division, and it's hurting both. Honestly, one show should have the women and Cruiserweights, the other the Tag Division, but that would make too much sense. Anyway, I'm thinking that it's time for Enzo and Cass to win the straps. No clue what will happen after that, but I think it's time they're Tag Team Champions, even if for a bit.

Kendra's Predicted Winners: Enzo & Big Cass

Zack:

I’m really happy this match got turned into a ladder match because before that I didn’t care much about this match. Obviously, a Triple Threat Tag Team match at WrestleMania makes me (and probably a lot of you) think about Edge and Christian vs. The Dudley Boyz vs. The Hardy Boyz. That match was lightning in a bottle and hopefully these new teams can also create magic with this match at Mania. Sheamus has already suffered a dozen stitches as a result of the ladder so hopefully these guys don’t get too banged up. I think we can all agree that Enzo and Cass need to walk out of WrestleMania as champions to avoid sinking into obscurity. They’ve been floating around doing nothing for far too long. I think they wanted to keep New Day and Enzo and Cass apart, but then they didn’t know what to do with Enzo and Cass until Mania. Let’s hope they are the ones to walk out with the gold (silver). If one person is going to pull a huge spot it’s either going to be Karl Anderson or Enzo and my money is on Enzo.

Zack's Predicted Winners: Enzo & Big Cass

Joshua:

This has to be when Cass and Enzo finally win titles right? It’s getting to the point of them becoming the next Cryme Tyme in being super popular but never getting the titles. They deserve a run with the strap and I will be glad to get the titles off the boring Gallows and Anderson.

Joshua's Predicted Winners: Enzo & Big Cass

The Retro Goat:

As of writing, this has not been declared a ladder match. I'm kind of hopeful that they add a ladder stipulation, since tag team ladder matches are always fun and just infrequent enough that it's exciting. But it is very much like WWE to introduce a Chekov's gun like the ladder and then not use. And if they don't, then we get the same damn match we've gotten six times per episode of Raw since the beginning of 2017. The ladder match is honestly the only way to make this match remotely interesting. As for the winners, I'm betting they're gonna give Enzo & Cass their Wrestlemania moment even though the duo is starting to peter out. They're basically just slightly ruder New Day at this point. Still, Raw's tag team titles are at least being defended, so that's a plus. I think.

The Retro Goat's Predicted Winners: Enzo & Big Cass

Chris:

This is going to be an interesting match, if only for the fact that we've really only got one "small guy" in a ladder match, and he's essentially just there to make his partner look stronger every match. Part of me would love to see Enzo and Cass win, but I'd also like to see Cass finally snap and get pissed at Enzo not holding up his end of the team. I think it all comes down to Cesaro and Sheamus versus The Club, and at the end of the day you need another dominant tag team, so taking the titles off Gallows and Anderson wouldn't help that cause. That's the primary reason I see them retaining.

Chris' Predicted Winners: Gallows & Anderson

CJ's Predicted Winners: Enzo & Big Cass

Brendan's Predicted Winners: Enzo & Big Cass

Big M's Predicted Winners: Enzo & Big Cass

Zeppelin's Predicted Winners: Enzo & Big Cass

Elizabeth's Predicted Winners: Gallows & Anderson

SmackDown Women's Championship Six-Pack Challenge (Kickoff)
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Mickie James vs. Natalya vs. Carmella vs. Naomi

20170330_210411

CJ:

Regardless of match placement and type, I'm just happy to see both the SmackDown Women's Title and Alexa Bliss on the card. It's a huge bummer Naomi got injured when she won the title because it really would've been cool to see her defend at the biggest show of the year. Luckily, the woman of glow is back and ready to kick some butt! Everyone else included in this match has worked their tails off since the Draft, so I'm totally cool with the choice to book the entire roster. If Little Miss Bliss doesn't walk out with the belt in two, Naomi sure better be our new champ.

CJ's Predicted Winner: Naomi

Brendan:

While I'm not a huge fan of these multi-person matches especially when it comes to the title being on the line, at least it gives everyone a spot on the show which they all deserve for doing their part to make the Smackdown women's division fairly strong. I will say that Alexa retains here and looks strong so that she can then lose it to a debuting superstar shortly after on the following Smackdown or PPV, which will probably be Asuka.

Brendan's Predicted Winner: Alexa Bliss

Big M:

Ok, I know the card is stacked! But the fact that both Women’s Title Matches are not being defended on the main show pisses me off! And it’s something I WILL be addressing in the next House of M. But all that aside, this should be a very fun match. The amount of talent being in the ring at one time is a sure fired way to deliver something entertaining. Now, if you want me to pick someone to win…Becky Lynch is my dream girl! So I’ve got to go with my beautiful Irish Lass-Kicker.

Big M's Predicted Winner: Becky Lynch

Zeppelin:

I really wish they would have just made the Naomi appearance at WrestleMania. It would have been a bigger pop than on Smackdown; plus, they killed interest in this match by capping off any other surprise entrants (Eva Marie *cough cough*). Naomi has to win the belt. It is too perfect of a way to help kick off WrestleMania.

Zeppelin's Predicted Winner: Naomi

Joshua:

This should be a decent though cluttered match. Each of the 6 ladies will be featured and have their moments during the match. I think 1 of 2 scenarios will happen. Either Bliss retains to drop the title to a debuting Asuka on Smackdown or Naomi wins the title on the biggest show of the year in her hometown after her return from injury after having to dropping it because of the injury.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Naomi

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Naomi

Zack's Predicted Winner: Naomi

The Retro Goat's Predicted Winner: Naomi

Elizabeth's Predicted Winner: Naomi

Thomas' Predicted Winner: Becky Lynch (Kelly Kelly & Tamina return)

Raw Women's Championship Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match
Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax

20170330_205158

Kendra:

I think the thing they need to do early, after everyone attacks everyone else, is have Bayley, Sasha, and Charlotte work together to take Nia out of this match, and then watch the other three about kill each other. I truly believe that Sasha is going to make sure that Bayley is eliminated, screwing her friend and turning heel. But will it be Charlotte or Sasha walking out the Raw Women's Champion? Personally, I want to see Sasha and Bayley feud, so I'm going with Sasha for the win.

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Sasha Banks

Zack:

Has anyone else noticed this match is the entire Women’s Division on Raw? Like, yeah there’s Emma (technically), Dana Brooks, and Alicia Fox but does anyone actually count them? These 4 women are the only real full time Women’s Division wrestlers on Raw. I still don’t know how I feel about Nia Jax, I just feel like she’s not ready, but honestly it could just be that I haven’t seen her full potential tapped. Hell, if there was anywhere to prove me wrong, WrestleMania is it. I do really enjoy that this match has turned into an elimination style match. I looooove me some elimination style matches. As much as I would absolutely adore Bayley to come out on top in her first WrestleMania, I think the winner is going to be Sasha Banks. Honestly, Sasha deserves a WrestleMania win too, it should’ve been her last year. I think Sasha is going to turn on Bayley during the match to secure the win. I think the elimination order will go Nia, Charlote, Bayley.

Zack's Predicted Winner: Sasha Banks

Joshua:

The elimination rules make this match more interesting. Only 2 outcomes are possible. Either Sasha Banks wins the title or Bayley manages to survive and retain the title. As a Bayley fan I pick the latter.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Bayley

The Retro Goat:

The Women's Triple Treat stole the show last year, that can't be denied. It also can't be denied that it likely won't this year. The Elimination aspect is also entirely pointless, and really only serves for some shocking swerve to pop up. Probably a Sasha Banks heel turn. But hey, if it gets her the title for the 17th time, good for her. Sasha Banks getting a Wrestlemania moment is a happy thought. Though I still feel like this match is gonna have all the quality of the 45 other Raw Women's matches lately. It probably could've been contested as a ladder match and had a better chance of stealing the show, but all we get is an elimination match And it's still less cluttered than Smackdown's one women's match.

The Retro Goat's Predicted Winner: Sasha Banks

Chris:

This should be a great match, and the final step in the turn of Sasha Banks to being a heel. Bayley will have everything seemingly in hand, until Sasha attacks her from behind and costs her the championship. It will come down to Charlotte and Bayley, with another Flair reign beginning, and Sasha's jealousy boiling over into costing Bayley the title.

Chris' Predicted Winner: Charlotte

CJ's Predicted Winner: Sasha Banks

Brendan's Predicted Winner: Bayley

Big M's Predicted Winner: Bayley

Zeppelin's Predicted Winner: Bayley

Elizabeth's Predicted Winner: Bayley

Thomas' Predicted Winner: Charlotte

Intercontinental Championship Match
Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Baron Corbin

20170330_204338

CJ:

This was a match I've wanted since before Elimination Chamber. It was fairly simple to book and the two are great characters to have on opposite sides of the ring. Unfortunately the booking has kind of been sub-par, but with this loaded card, I guess we are lucky to see it have a decent backstory. To get right to the point, Corbin should definitely go over to capture his first title. Ambrose has felt like a transitional champ all along, and hopefully we see a heel turn from him sooner rather than later. The feud won't just stop here as The Lone Wolf begins his dominant run.

CJ's Predicted Winner: Baron Corbin

Brendan:

I feel like I'm predicting a lot of title changes on this show but I think another one will switch here. I can see Corbin picking up the win and becoming IC Champion for a while but I don't believe the feud will end here.

Brendan's Predicted Winner: Baron Corbin

Big M:

Now, this is the match on the card I am most excited about seeing. Dean Ambrose is my favorite worker to come into WWE in the last five years bar none. And Baron Corbin is only getting better with every passing week. I hope these two get a good fifteen minutes at least for this match. I’m thinking this will be a three match program between these two, and if that’s the case I expect Ambrose to walk away with the win at Mania. But he’ll lose both rematches and in doing so will help push Corbin to the next level!

Big M's Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose

Zeppelin:

I would really like Dean Ambrose to win, because the guy deserves a win at WrestleMania, but he is better than the Intercontinental scene. That being said, Ambrose really does look like a transitional champion for Corbin. This will be Corbin’s make or break moment. I think both men will deliver, but Corbin will win in some form or fashion, this way he can carry the mid card on Smackdown, and Ambrose can move up to the main event scene again.

Zeppelin's Predicted Winner: Baron Corbin

Joshua:

How far in a year has Corbin come, last year he won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal as a virtual nobody form NXT and this year he will have his big moment by beating Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship. And people have gotten on board with Corbin after the last couple months as he was elevated and recovered from the abysmal feuds with Kalisto and Dolph Ziggler. He wins with his amazing End of Days finisher.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Baron Corbin

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Baron Corbin (It's his time)

Zack's Predicted Winner: Baron Corbin

United States Championship Match
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Kevin Owens

20170330_201055

Kendra:

I'm quite excited for this match, and I think, other than the Cruiserweight Championship Match, this is the Raw match that I think could steal WrestleMania. SmackDown has a lot of great matches on the card, but they don't have Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. These two have chemistry like few in the industry today, other than KO and Sami, or Jericho and almost anyone. Okay, these two can make magic in the ring with almost everyone, which means this match is going to be stellar. This is another match that I think Joe might be around for, especially if Sami makes his way to ringside, which wouldn't shock me, but this time he won't stop KO from winning. I don't think Jericho is planning to be around after WrestleMania, at least for a bit, so that means KO needs to win the US Championship here. It's a big step back for KO to hold the US Championship, but it's also a huge step back for Jericho after being the first Undisputed Champion. Though it rounded out the one Championship that Jericho had never won in the WWE, and he surely deserved that! The long and short of this is that they will put on a jaw dropping match, but in the end KO will walk out with the strap over his shoulder, leaving us with another beautiful WrestleMania moment.

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Kevin Owens

Zack:

I honestly did not think they’d be able to drag things out with these two long enough to get to a match at WrestleMania, but they did a great job. I was surprised at how well everything flowed and the break-up between these two was magic. One of the best segments I’ve seen in a very long time. This match is pretty much a no-brainer in terms of quality. Both KO and Jericho are well known for being skilled inside the squared circle. I’m sure this match will be one of the better matches of the night, possibly the best. There aren’t many matches on the card that I’m too excited for, but this is definitely one of them. I’m hoping that Owens wins here, then uses his rematch clause to win back the Universal Championship on Raw. Making him the first United States and Universal Champion.

Zack's Predicted Winner: Kevin Owens

Joshua:

I have really enjoyed this feud and KO and Jericho have killed it every night. Unfortunately, I think Jericho is on his way out to go tour with his band so I think KO wins the title and props it up.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Kevin Owens

The Retro Goat:

While most of the matches on this Wrestlemania have stipulations that they don't need, I'd argue that this one should've been one that did have a stipulation. Nothing major, maybe no DQ? It's a blood feud, and though they're two exceedingly talented wrestlers, this should in-story be closer to a fight rather than an artistic wrestling contest. Still, I don't mind what we're getting at all, save for finalizing Kevin Owen's demotion by giving him the most worthless belt in WWE today. I've honestly lost hope for the US Championship belt, it's so far into stage prop territory it's not even funny. But it is Kevin Owen's "prize" for what has been one of the most compelling angles in recent Raw memory, and the match is going to be awesome, so things aren't all bad.

The Retro Goat's Predicted Winner: Kevin Owens

Chris:

Well this is an easy one, we all know what's coming, Jericho has time off after Mania for his band to tour. Of course he's dropping the title...but not on Sunday. I see his slipping a win over Owens at the last second, carrying the title out, then on Monday he gets absolutely destroyed by Braun to be written off and give up the title. Owens doesn't need the US title anymore, and making him pissed that he didn't get to ruin things for Jericho only makes the renewal down the road that much better.

Chris' Predicted Winner: Chris Jericho

CJ's Predicted Winner: Kevin Owens

Brendan's Predicted Winner: Kevin Owens

Mixed Tag Team Match
John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse

20170330_205656

CJ:

I continue to ask - why do I love this feud? I can't stand Maryse or Nikki Bella, yet I am dying to see them have an all-out cat fight. Cena vs. Miz is a few years old... heck, it was the main event of the first WrestleMania I ever ordered. The promos have also been straight fire! I see a lot of positives in this storyline, whether or not the actual match itself is worth watching. A retirement from Nikki and/or a ring from Cena look like good possibilities following the superhero victory.

CJ's Predicted Winners: Cena & Nikki

Brendan:

I don't expect a modern classic here but this should be at least a fun match. We are probably getting the proposal afterwards as well and if this is Nikki's last match, there's no way that she and Cena are going under at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Brendan's Predicted Winners: Cena & Nikki

Big M:

While I have never been more impressed by the work of all four individuals involved as well as the work of Smackdown’s creative to actually get people interested in this match! People will quickly remember who is in the ring here and they will not enjoy what they see. I mean, Cena and Miz can work a good match for sure, but Nikki and Maryse on the other hand…"Blugh." However, I do think people will be surprised who winds up winning this match. Despite all the rumors to the contrary, I actually think Cena and Nikki are not guaranteed to be booked to go over in this one.

Big M's Predicted Winners: Miz & Maryse

Zeppelin:

At first, I was so against this program. I felt that all four superstars in the match deserved better than this thrown together tag match, but they have made this one of the biggest programs on the show. Whether that is sad that a massive WrestleMania program is centered around a reality tv show is irrelevant, because the promo work between these four have been some of the best in WWE. With that being said, Miz and Maryse need the win. If Miz doesn’t win this match, he will never be a bigger deal than he is right now, but if he does win, than Miz could go on to be a huge heel and be a top draw for either brand. The man deserves another major title run after these last couple of years. The man is simply AWESOME! Besides Cena and Bella can still come out looking strong via a dirty finish or what not.

Zeppelin's Predicted Winners: Miz & Maryse

Joshua:

Cena and Miz have proven once again that they are the best talkers in the company today. They have taken a meh match and made it as Miz would say a Must See Match. I expect a proposal to occur and that would not make any sense if Cena and Nikki lose. So they will win and Miz will be rewarded for the match by winning the Money In the Bank ladder match.

Joshua's Predicted Winners: Cena & Nikki

Kendra's Predicted Winners: Cena & Nikki (with a ring coming after the match)

Singles Match
Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles

20170330_193955

CJ:

I'm super excited for this bout as well! AJ Styles is easily one of my all-time favorites and I've actually enjoyed seeing Shane back over the last year. I completely understand why fans are mad that Styles isn't in the main event or the WWE Title match, but as someone who tends to look at the bright side when it comes to WrestleMania, I can appreciate this being a top SmackDown match. The way I look at it is Shane is giving AJ this match for AJ to prove himself as the top guy they both know he is. I'm confident these two will tear the house down and shock people (possibly a few times). Here's to Styles picking up his first Mania win.

CJ's Predicted Winner: AJ Styles

Brendan:

I wasn't feeling this one when it was initially made despite the build-up to it being quite good. Styles can get a good match out of pretty much anyone and Shane is willing to go all-in on anything so I think this will produce some great results. Let's just hope the obvious call is made here.

Brendan's Predicted Winner: AJ Styles

Big M:

I make no secret of the fact that I feel that AJ Styles should be in the Wrestlemania main event after the incredible debut year he’s had in WWE! And let's be honest here, Shane McMahon isn’t really a worker…he’s a stunt guy! So no matter how good a job everyone involved has done to sell this match, I’m pretty sure it will disappoint! But considering how big of a star AJ is and will continue to be in WWE, you would be stupid to think anyone but him would be going over in this one.

Big M's Predicted Winner: AJ Styles

Zeppelin:

I am not going to go too far into this, Styles has to win. If Shane wins it will be one of the worst booking decisions in WrestleMania history.

Zeppelin's Predicted Winner: AJ Styles

Joshua:

This will be an insane match. Anything is possible with these 2 face each other. I’m mostly picking this match to watch the Internet meltdown afterwards. I pick Shane McMahon to win and for AJ to end up on Raw soon.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Shane McMahon

Non-Sanctioned Match
Seth Rollins vs. Triple H

20170330_200001

Kendra:

I'm so excited for this match, because we all know Rollins has been selling his knee so much more than it's actually injured. If his knee was that bad, he wouldn't be working WrestleMania, even against one of the safest men in the industry. Rollins is a top tier wrestler, and Brock is going to need someone to work against to drop the Universal Championship, sooner rather that later, and none of us want it to only be Reigns in that spot, so it will have to be Rollins. Further, I have a gut feeling that this will be where Finn Balor makes his appearance, adding that much more angst to The Authority in the ring, and ringside. Further, Balor will help neutralize Joe, who will absolutely be ringside with Steph. I'm expecting greatness from this match, but it will be the last time Rollins uses the pedigree, at least for a while, as he said he wouldn't use it after he beat Trip with it, and that's exactly what will happen.

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Seth Rollins

Zack:

This is the only match on the card I am legitimately EXCITED for. Everything else has me very “eh.” Even the KO vs. Jericho match which I think I’m going to enjoy is a match that was a better rivalry than it will be match. Triple H vs Rollins is going to be a blockbuster without question. I only hope that Seth stays healthy and doesn’t re-injure himself at all during the match. He’s cutting his medical clearance time very close. However, I know Triple H will do everything in his power to keep Seth safe in this match. I’m wondering what exactly this “unsanctioned match” will entail. Does that mean it’s No DQ? My guess is that we’re going to see Joe come down and then Balor make the save. Then again, I’ve been saying we’ll see Balor for the last 3-4 weeks in a row and yet, no Finn. Honestly, it’s a little mind blowing to me that Joe and Finn aren’t on the card at all this year. I can only hope we get something impromptu with them and they get a match. I think we’re going to see Triple H pass the torch to Rollins here, or at least I hope we do.

Zack's Predicted Winner: Seth Rollins

Joshua:

Thanks to injury this match took a lot longer to happen than it should have. This should have happened last year at WrestleMania. Trips and Rollins will put on a fine show with no rules. I just wish Rollins could stay healthy. I expect Rollins to win with a Pedigree and then debut a new finisher on RAW.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Seth Rollins

The Retro Goat:

This is going to be a fun match, but man the story behind it is pretty crappy. Seth essentially wants revenge for being kicked out of Triple H's Supervillain Squad, and that makes him the good guy. Meanwhile Triple H nowadays is almost too cool to hate, yet he's always the heel in his matches. It's just a mess. However, ignoring the storyline context, this could be a lot of fun. Especially if they use the non-sanction clause to deliver a brutal affair similar to Hunter and Shawn's match when HBK came back. That was a really good match, and other than a crappy story, these two could totally deliver a similarly high quality affair. Naturally, Seth kind of needs to win to be a big babyface. While the knee issue gives enough that it isn't an outright predictable affair like last year's triple H match, it would be pretty shocking if Seth didn't manage to overcome the odds and win. Plus it would give Hunter an excuse to sic his current chosen ones on Seth, and I am A-OK with Seth VS Samoa Joe.

The Retro Goat's Predicted Winner: Seth Rollins

Chris:

I think we all know how we want this to go down, but I get the feeling maybe a little more will occur. I don't doubt that Rollins will somehow come out the victor, but Triple H and his crew will wind up beating him down after the match. During the beatdown we'll see Sami Zayn come down to try pulling Joe out of the mix, then Owens will enter, and finally we'll see the return of The Demon King with Balor coming out to even up the teams. This will lead to the faction feud that will run the summer, giving everyone something to pay attention to outside of Lesnar and Reigns.

Singles Match
Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker

20170330_195630

Kendra:

I wish I was looking forward to this match, but Taker isn't in the shape to have the match, and Reigns doesn't believe in himself enough going into this match. My big worry is that Taker will, again, be injured at WrestleMania. He has nothing to prove, and really shouldn't be working this year. I don't like saying it's time for anyone to hang up their boots (other than Brock Lesnar and Goldberg), but it appears as though it's more than time for Taker to hang them up and enjoy himself in Texas with his beautiful wife. As much as I still don't think Reigns is ready for a match like this, never mind a win like this, but we all know that it will go down that way.

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Zack:

I don’t know how many times I can shout turn Roman Reigns heel before I go insane. Recently, Triple H was asked about Roman and turning him heel and he gave the response, “isn’t he already a heel?” To which I answer, simply, no. Just because someone is getting massive heat doesn’t mean they are a heel. If James Elsworth won the WWE Championship he’d get massive heat, that doesn’t mean he’s a good heel it means the crowd is rejecting it. I’m sure Triple H was trying to justify the actions of Vince, but that answer really pissed me off. WWE had every chance to pull the trigger on a Roman heel turn leading into WrestleMania and they didn’t. Roman is getting nuclear level X-Pac heat and it’d be so easy to turn that into the proper kind of heat but WWE doesn’t want to do that for some mind boggling reason. I think Roman is going to go over here and I think because WWE didn’t bother to turn Roman heel before this match I think the crowd is going to revolt. All I can say is this match BETTER be on last because otherwise every other match is royally SCREWED. If they do this and keep Roman face his career will forever be defined as the right guy in the wrong place. I will go on record as saying I really like Roman as a performer, but they can’t get their heads out of their a** long enough to book him properly.

Zack's Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

Joshua:

This should be the last hurrah for the Undertaker. He picked to work with Roman so I will defer to him on why his last match is Reigns and not Cena. Undertaker deserves to all the respect in the world and I think he will go out in a blaze of glory while putting the future over at the same time. Reigns will win the match because that’s the right thing to do and Undertaker knows it

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns

The Retro Goat:

Undertaker's career is so close to ending, and his last few matches are being used for matches no one really asked for. Granted, Roman Reigns is technically something of a step up from Shane McMahon, but no one other than Vince would really qualify it as a dream match. Plus the build up is also kind of weak. Old dog refusing to give up his yard is intriguing, but without the threat to Undertaker's career, this is kind of just a regular match. If Roman Reigns was around in 2006, we'd be getting this at Judgement Day, not Wrestlemania. Plus, Roman is still allegedly a face. The fans would sincerely be apoplectic and borderline rioting if he beat Undertaker. With Eva Marie rumored to be gone, that would make Roman THE most hated man in wrestling. Before beating Undertaker at Wrestlemania. The backlash of Roman's win would be so severe, he'd either be the biggest heel on purpose, or Wrestlemania would be destroyed by the fans. So, for the sake of the show not being nuked with fandom rage, I'm going with Undertaker.

The Retro Goat's Predicted Winner: The Undertaker

Chris:

I know I'm not alone in this, this is the one match I really don't want to see happen. Nothing against Reigns, but the suspected result is damn near too much for me to handle. I believe it'll be a decent match, Undertaker does seem to be a bit more pained than usual this year, but in the end we'll see the end of an icon. Sure, Reigns may not win the match, but he's going to win the war. I wish I could be in the building for this moment, just as I was with Flair. It's going to be tough, but if Taker feels it's time to go, I respect that. Undertaker wins, but Roman goes off after the match and leaves him unable to get up, ending possibly the greatest career in wrestling history.

WWE Championship Match
Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Randy Orton

20170330_200633

CJ:

Bray Wyatt should definitely retain here to really get the ball rolling, right? Nope. When has WWE booked Wyatt correctly? Considering the somewhat rocky road we took to get to this match, I'm going to say that trend will continue. Notice that Luke Harper doesn't have a match and isn't even advertised for the battle royal. The fact that he isn't in this match is disappointing, but I believe there's a bigger picture as always. Harper will be involved one way or another, and that will result in The Viper capturing his first WWE Championship at WrestleMania. (He's defended, challenged for, and lost the title, but has never won it at the big show.) The three will become embroiled in a tense rivalry over the next month or two, with Wyatt ultimately winning the family feud to kick start a decent title run.

CJ's Predicted Winner: Randy Orton

Brendan:

Based on the buildup alone, this should be the main event of Wrestlemania. It won't be and that's a damn shame. Out of the five Smackdown matches at this show, this is the one I am most looking forward to. The build-up has exceeded six months with alliances forged and broken so it will be really intriguing to see how this feud comes to a head. I also don't see a title change here and I hope that Bray will be allowed to continue his reign.

Brendan's Predicted Winner: Bray Wyatt

Big M:

I have had mixed feelings about this feud since day one! Some parts I’ve liked and some parts I’ve loathed. But I’m sure this match, the culmination of it all will not disappoint. I honestly don’t think it matters who wins or loses this one as both men will look like a million bucks. But, I’m pretty sure Orton is walking away with his thirteenth World Title win.

Big M's Predicted Winner: Randy Orton

Zeppelin:

As weird and far-fetch this program has taken, I am still attracted to its potential. This is a huge program for Wyatt, and Orton is a big name, that despite how it has been treated, the match still feels like a big deal. I personally believe Luke Harper should have been added in the match, but that’s me. As for the winner, Bray needs this big WrestleMania moment more than Orton. I hope they continue with this metamorphosis of Wyatt into this dark and mystical entity, because with Undertaker on his way out whether it be this year or next, WWE will want a big name to carry that role. Bray Wyatt is that guy, and retaining the title and continuing on to a lengthy and memorable first title reign will do just that.

Zeppelin's Predicted Winner: Bray Wyatt

Joshua:

This feud has been on fire, pun intended. This is a great example of how WWE can still pull off a slow burn feud. Randy is elevating the game of Bray and making him look as a credible champion. I think Bray retains and then feuds with Harper afterwards. I just hope to see a Sister Abagail turned into a RKO during the match.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Randy Orton

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Bray Wyatt (Harper involved in some way)

Universal Championship Match
Goldberg (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

20170330_195140

Kendra:

This is the match I'm least looking forward to. I think it's a travesty that both of these men are on the WrestleMania card, and even worse that they're the main event of the show. Goldberg just can't go, and Brock is too dangerous to be in the WWE, especially for the cash they are paying him. After that horrible spear by Goldberg on Raw, we all know Brock will win this match, the Universal Championship, and hopefully drop it pretty quickly to someone who actually deserves the belt, possibly on Raw the following night?

Kendra's Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar

Zack:

I read something recently that said, “this match is going to happen whether people want it to or not, so you might as well just enjoy it.” I took that in and thought about it. I’m torn because honestly this is good advice. We can all hate that this match is happen, probably on last, but it’s going to happen either way so we should, as fans, just try our best to put our judgement aside and enjoy the match. However, I also f***ing hate that this match is happening, and for the championship no less. My inner CM Punk is screaming “the fact that they’re both in the main event makes me sick!” Not to mention this is the rematch that no one asked for. What I’m going to try to do is put my anger and prejudice aside going into the match, in hopes that if I don’t have my hate goggles on it will make things more enjoyable for me. It’ll just be very difficult to do so.

The match has been reportedly given 12 minutes. Not a tremendous amount of time for a main event championship match, but hey it’s roughly 24 times the length of the average Goldberg match thus far. Lesnar and Goldberg need to make this a match worth watching. We’re all expecting to titans to go to war in this match and that’s what we need to get. Hard hitting, stiff punches, maybe a little color kind of match. My biggest concern is work ethic. Goldberg, I can’t speak to his work ethic, but I can say that he has only worked extremely short squash matches. Is he physically going to be able to perform at a WrestleMania main event quality? Right now, we don’t know. Maybe he is ready, maybe he’s not. As for Lesnar, we’ve seen his work ethic in WWE over the last few years and it’s crap. There’s just not no way around that fact. He’s lazy, he does the bare minimum required and doesn’t have any reason to “reach for the brass ring.” We even got confirmation of that from what Dean Ambrose said on the Stone Cold Podcast. If a younger, hungrier Dean Ambrose couldn’t get Brock to give a damn, what makes anyone think a match with Goldberg will? I sure don’t.

I was, actually, all for this match before. You take two part-timers and put them in a “fantasy” match and boom, you’re good. You don’t have to put any younger guys under to make the part-timer look good, fans get a great match, Vince gets his part-timer fix. It was a win/win. However, when you take the championship off the hard working, full-time talent just to draw interest in this match it screws everything up. The question you should ask is, is anyone MORE likely to watch WrestleMania because Goldberg is the champion? Maybe, but I’m guessing fans who were tuning in to see Goldberg wrestle again would’ve done it whether he was champion or not. In fact, I feel like most will scoff that they can’t believe he’s champion at his age. The biggest problem I have with this match is the Universal Championship. Either way, we’re walking out of WrestleMania with a part-time champion and that is simply unacceptable. Not only do we THINK it’s a bad idea, we KNOW it’s a bad idea. Last time Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship he defended it 2-3 times in 6 months. This isn’t MMA, you can have a wrestler only defend here or there. This is sports entertainment, as much as I hate that word, we’re paying to be entertained and not having a champion who shows up is not entertaining. The only way this is acceptable is if Kevin Owens comes out on Raw and invokes his rematch and wins it back on Raw.

Zack's Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar

Joshua:

I’ve enjoyed Goldberg’s return. I however know one of these guys will still be here when the match is over and the other’s deal ends with Wrestlemania. So by Default I pick Lesnar to win the title hopefully he defends it more than he did the WWE Championship.

Joshua's Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar

The Retro Goat:

This will likely close out the show (unless Roman Reigns is beating Undertaker) and sadly there's not much to say about it. They might brawl and it might exceed five minutes, but this is going to be a blink and you'll miss it match. There's nothing wrong with attraction matches like this, but it is kind of weak thinking that the closer of Wrestlemania is another part-time champion around for 10 shows in a year. Still, apparently Brock friggin' Lesnar needs a redemption quest and an ugly red belt, so here we are. Yippie.

The Retro Goat's Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar

Chris:

In the match less people are interested in than even Undertaker vs Reigns, it's the battle of the Behemoth and the propped up old fella. Like most of Goldberg's matches, I'll make this short.

Chris' Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar

CJ's Predicted Winner: Goldberg

Brendan's Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar

Big M's Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar
