Jeremy Borash conducted a sit-down interview with Dixie Carter that was posted here on ImpactWrestling.com. Below are some notes:
Dixie Carter stated she wasn’t interested in a network just picking up their two hour TV show and wanted a partnership on a much bigger level. She said that’s what TNA needed and it’s something they deserve.
She said she is a huge fan of Spike TV and hopes to stay connected through their talent also fighting on Bellator MMA shows. Dixie called the partnership with Spike a great ride.
Regarding communication, Dixie said she told talent as much as she possibly could. She wanted to make the announcement in person but was unable to do that. She said they told the talent through a conference call and everyone has been supportive and excited without knowing just how different it’s going to be.
JB recalled one wrestler telling Dixie to look them in the eyes and assure them there will be a TV deal. She did that and obviously delivered.
