TNA X Division Champion DJ Z was a guest on Main Event Radio recently where he talked about TNA Wrestling heading into the new year following yet another year of tremendous uncertainly within the promotion. Here’s what he said regarding the direction of the company headed into 2017:
"It's exciting. We've got some new people in charge. There's some new creative energy. I think it's going to be great for the wrestlers and for the fans. I encourage everyone to give it a chance and keep tuning in. I'm really looking forward to it. I hope that we go back on the road. From what I've heard and what fans have told me, it's a really fun experience; a very crowd-interactive show. TNA live events are some of the most fun I've had in wrestling.”
DJ Z stated in the same interview he was looking forward to next month’s TNA television tapings and that he rediscovered his love for wrestling following the most successful year of his career in 2016.
Two notable names gone from TNA Wrestling for this next set of tapings are Dave Lagana who resigned after Billy Corgan was ousted and of course Corgan himself.
