A report being attributed to Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that Destination America has marked Impact Wrestling for cancelation at the end of the third quarter of 2015 (which ends on September 30, 2015).
According to the report, the decision was made prior to the announcement last week that Impact is moving from Fridays to Wednesdays.
The cancellation is reportedly due to Impact drawing “just okay” ratings that do not justify the show’s cost and lack of advertising revenue.
Richard Reacts: I’ve been checking on this since I first heard about it on Wednesday night and do not want to go further into Observer’s report. We’ll find out what we can and report it in due time. Obviously, if TNA loses domestic TV at the end of September, the company is in big trouble.
