TNA Impact Wrestling Results (5/15/15)

Impact Wrestling opens with Kurt Angle making his entrance along with Chris Melendez. Angle thanks Melendez for his help in the title match from the week before, and for serving his country. Calling Melendez a 'true hero and role model for kids'. Next, Angle calls out the Rising. Angle thanks the Rising for being a breath of fresh air in the company. Drew Galloway states that Angle is the best in the world, and one day the two of them will meet for the title. Angle says he doesn't back down from a challenge and is interrupted my Eric Young. EY says he is still the #1 contender to the title because he was screwed last week. With Bully Ray, Melendez and the Rising all against him; EY says he will never quite until he is champion again, prompting Angle to announce a future "I Quit" match between them for the title. Angle then mentions tonight's Hardcore War and announces the Rising and Melendez as his teammates. EY brings out his team, the BDC, and an all out brawl breaks out. Lashley makes the surprise return to spear EY in the ring and join Angle's team.

Brooke & Rebel vs. Marti Bell & Jade (The Dollhouse w/Taryn Terrell)

The match begins with the Dollhouse knocking Brooke and Rebel of the apron as they made their way into the ring. Marti and Jade trade tags as they beat up on Rebel until Brooke tags in and turns things around. A couple nice counters by Jade and Brooke finishing it what looked like Brooke countering a powerbomb into a facebuster. Rebel goes for the splits from the second rope, but Jade rolls out of the way. Marti and Jade hit a big slam on Brooke, then turn around and do the same to Rebel as Jade gets the pin and three count.

Winner: The Dollhouse (Marti & Jade)

Taryn gets in the ring says playtime with the Dollhouse isn't always fun, and Gail Kim will find that out tonight. EY and the BDC is shown backstage going over strategy and wondering if Homicide will be there tonight. MVP says Homicide will not be there, and to start looking for plan B.

Ethan Carter 3 makes his way down to the ring with Tyrus at his side. EC3 talks about how the TNA Top 5 is "Red, White and Bullcrap". EC3 starts demanding answers about why he has not become #1 contender until Mr. Anderson interrupts, chair in hand. EC3 says that things between them is over with and leaves the ring, but Anderson says he's looking for a fight. Anderson says if he beats Tyrus tonight, then he gets EC3 in a match next week. EC3 says no quickly, but after Anderson calling Tyrus a 'bitch' several times, Tyrus accepts the match and runs into the ring to start it.

The match begins back and forth, high paced, as both men trade blows and hard strikes. But then Tyrus' gets the upper hand with his size. Anderson starts to fight back but is powerbombed and covered for a two count. EC3 gets up on the apron with a chair and is arguing about the near fall until he gets tossed from ringside. Anderson decides to play possum in the ring as Tyrus picks him back up, only to hit the Mic Check to score the victory and a match with EC3 next week.

Winner: Mr. Anderson

The Wolves and the Dirty Heels were shown getting ready for their tag team best of 5 series as we head to the break.

A video recaps last weeks events between Mickie James, Magnus and James Storm resulting in Magnus smashing a guitar over Storm's head. Magnus makes his way to the ring and calls out Storm saying he is full of crap and everyone knows it. Abyss makes his way out instead of Storm and says that since he attacked his leader, now Magnus has to deal with him. The two begin brawling outside the ring, with Abyss getting shoved into the ring post; then Abyss using the gear from Barbeque Pit Masters to beat down Magnus. This continues until Magnus uses the tongs to lowblow Abyss. Manik tries to come in for the save but is dropped as well. Khoya attacks Magnus from behind with the cane and the Revoultion outnumbers Magnus, leaving him fallen in the ring. A video aired promoting the tag team best of 5 match, and the Dirty Heels make their way to the ring followed by the Wolves.

The Wolves vs. The Dirty Heels

Eddie Edwards and Bobby Roode begin the match as Roode gains control and tags Austin Aries in. The Wolves trade quick tags keeping Aries grounded and in their corner. Roode tries to save his partner but is double teamed and taken out. The Wolves stay in control until the Dirty Heels use some heel tactics to distract the ref and get the advantage. Aries and Roode continue this gameplan, double teaming and wearing down Eddie Edwards; until Davey Richards tags in and takes out the Dirty Heels. The Wolves team up on Aries until Roode drags Edwards outside and Richards gets thrown out as well. Aries suicide dives onto both Wolves on the floor and Roode rolls them back in the ring so they can go for the win; but Richards rolls up Roode for the pin and surprise win as Edwards hold on to Aries on the apron.

Winner: The Wolves (Lead series 1-0)

The Rising is shown backstage and Drew Galloway says that even though they do things as a team, only two of them can be on Angle's team. Galloway chooses Mica, saying there will be more battles for Eli. Angle comes up with Lashley and Melendez and asks if everybody is ready for tonight, to a resounding yes. Taryn Terrell is shown doing 'pillow talk' with her Dollhouse teammates saying that she will show the whole world what she will be wearing for Gail Kim's husband Robert tonight.

The Revolution was shown as James Storm asks why they did what they did tonight because he never asked for that. Storm yells at them saying this is between him and Mickie, and not to let it happen again. The Dollhouse makes their way to the ring, and Taryn shows some pictures of her and Gail's step kids; then says she will reveal what she will wear for Gail's husband. Taryn begins to unrobe and is wearing white and black polka dot lingerie. Gail Kim comes out and asks why Taryn wanted to make this personal, and that she should defend the title against her like a real woman. Taryn says no and makes a crack at Kim's husband which leads to Kim attacking all three members of the Dollhouse and ridding the ring of them.

Back in the ring, Jessie Godderz is waiting as Robbie E makes his entrance.

Robbie E vs. Jessie Godderz

Robbie rolls up Jessie for the pin and the win in less than a minute.

Winner: Robbie E

Jessie grabs a mic and says no one wants a 5 second match and to restart the match.

Once again, Robbie E rolls up Jessie for another win in less than a minute.

Winner: Robbie E

Jessie again grabs a mic and says that he wasn't ready, and this final match will decide the better BroMan

Jessie gets the upper hand and grounds Robbie with hard strikes due to the embarrassment from the matches before. This continues until Robbie pins Jessie with a crucifix in about a 3 minute match.

Winner: Robbie E

Jessie snaps, grabs the mic and smashes it over Robbie E's head. Jessie throws the ref out of the ring, then tosses Robbie out to ringside as well. Jessie grabs a chair and wedges Robbie's neck in between it, then gruesomely slams Robbie into the ringpost. Both teams are shown backstage getting ready for their Hardcore War, next!

Team Young vs. Team Angle

Loki and Drew Galloway begin the match, both with pipes in hand. The two go back and forth trying to get a pipe shot in until Galloway gets the upperhand and send Loki outside the ring. Galloway throws Loki into the railing and adds in some chops to the chest. Next out, Kenny King. Galloway attacks King and holds his own until Loki recovers and the two BDC members team up on Galloway. Loki rolls Galloway back into the ring, and out comes the next participant, Mica. The two Rising members begin to get the upper hand on the two BDC members until King grabs a pipe and attacks Mica with it. Out next, Eric Young. Young comes out with a trash can lid and starts smashing it over the Rising members. In a crazy sequence, Galloway (tied up in the tree of woe) reaches up and German suplexes EY who is on the top turnbuckle, ready to suplex Mica. Next in, Kurt Angle. Angle comes in and hits team Young with suplexes as we head to break.

During the break, MVP entered the match; then Chris Melendez entered. Bram made his entrance as the fifth and final member of Team Young, wielding a kendo stick and giving his team the advantage. Lashley, makes his way to the ring as the final member of team Angle, and now the match begins with pinfall or submission winning it. Lashley comes in and spears Young, then slams King down until MVP attacks him from behind with the kendo stick. Once Lashley gets the upperhand on MVP, Bram enters and attacks Lashley from behind hitting his finisher. Mica then comes in and plants Bram, only to turn into a springboard neckbreaker from King. King turns around into a big kick by Galloway, who then does a suicide flip onto everybody on the outside. When everyone is back to standing Angle jumps off the top rope onto the crowd of wrestlers. This leaves Melendez and Young in the ring, and Melendez puts up a good fight against the #1 contender. But after a rake to the eyes and a piledriver, EY socres the pin and the win for his team.

Winner: Team Young

Post match, EY goes to pull off the prosthetic leg of Melendez and knocks out the ref trying to stop him. EY goes back and finally pulls off the fake leg and holds it like a trophy until Angle asks what's wrong with him. EY smashes the leg over Angle's head, then begins to choke him with it as Impact ends.
