TNA’s “Impact Wrestling” will finish up on Destination America this Wednesday in a single airing in the 11 PM EST timeslot. That’ll be conclude what has been a disappointing year for the company.
While initially spinning the move to Destination America as a network that would work with them where they could grow together, TNA saw a dramatic decrease to weekly viewership numbers. They’ll head to Pop next month with a much smaller following than what they had when they moved to Destination America from Spike TV and are basically just another independent promotion.
In addition to losing a large chunk of their domestic fanbase, almost all of their household names have moved on as well. Next year will be no different as Kurt Angle has already announced he won’t be re-signing and The Hardy Boyz have drawn interest from WWE. Their contracts are up at the beginning of 2016.
