TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves had to vacate the titles at Friday’s Impact tapings due to Eddie Edwards having a fractured heel.

In a promo we covered in our taping results that will air on an upcoming episode of Impact Wrestling, Edwards said he’ll be out a long time and as a result, they cannot defend the titles. As the storyline went, Davey Richards wouldn’t pick another partner and decided to relinquish the titles until Edwards is healthy.

We first broke the news of Edwards’ injury as it happened at the February 15, 2015 TNA Xtravaganza “One Night Only” tapings in Orlando. You can read our initial report at this link.

We confirmed Edwards had a broken heel the next day.
