Providers Looking to Replace WWE on PPV

With WWE losing their pay-per-view clearance across the board, we're told DirecTV, Dish Network and inDEMAND are looking for more wrestling-related content to help fill the void. This is how Ring of Honor ended up on pay-per-view and there have been talks with TNA Wrestling to increase their live pay-per-views as well. Another company that could benefit from this is Jeff Jarrett'sGlobal Force Wrestling promotion. We're told they've been talking with the providers and could land clearance at the simple fact the providers want more wrestling to offset the WWE loss.

Global Force Wrestling's Talent Budget

Speaking of Global Force Wrestling, we're told Toby Keith (whose net worth is estimated at $320 million) has scaled back on what he's willing to invest in talent. We're told he's not willing to give Jeff Jarrett a blank check to do whatever he wants. This has added some pressure for Jarrett to possibly attract some more investors to assure they are able to land enough to star power to launch. This is also on the assumption they will be able to get a decent TV slot.

Knockout Suffers Concussion

It was announced a couple of weeks ago on Impact Wrestling that Brittany suffered a concussion. We can confirm that injury was legitimate and occurred at the last set of TVs (obviously not the ones this week),
