TNA taped material for the October 1 and October 8 episodes of Impact Wrestling on Tuesday night from the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The Oct. 1 episode of Impact is slated to feature Samoa Joe defending the X Division Championship against Austin Aries and Havok facing TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim. There was actually moment in the former where it looked like Gail could have been legitimately injured on a bump out of the ring. The referee used the X signal but she was fine to work later in the taping (albeit with her shoulder wrapped).

Additionally, a promo was taped with Team 3D, The Hardys & The Wolves to set up a Full Metal Mayhem match that's scheduled to be taped on Friday.

Below are results of the matches slated to air on the Oct. 1 episode of Impact:

* TNA X Division Champion Samoa Joe b. Austin Aries

* MVP w/Kenny King b. Mr. Anderson w/Chris Melendez

* Ethan Carter III b. Eric Young

* TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim vs. Havok ended in no contest after Gail bumped to the outside of the ring. The referee gave the X signal, as mentioned above.

The Oct. 8 episode of Impact featured a title change as Havok was crowned the new TNA Knockouts Champion. This is notable for more than a couple reasons but none more significant than we heard as of early Monday, she was working without a contract. While there are plans to sign Havok, TNA is reportedly waiting to get their domestic TV sorted before extending contracts and committing money. For now, Havok is working per shots (at least the last we heard)

Additionally, Shark Boy made his return to the company and a new No. 1 Contender for the Knockouts Championship was crowned. A segment was taped where Ethan Carter III "fired" Rockstar Spud, where Spud turned babyface. The turn setup former WWE talent Brodus Clay to make his debut, as he took out Spud.

Below are results of matches slated to air on the Oct. 8 episode of Impact:

* Manik w/James Storm b. Shark Boy

* Havok b. Gail Kim to win the TNA Knockouts Championship. Gail worked with her shoulder wrapped, probably selling the bump from the material taped for the week prior.

* Madison Rayne b. Taryn Terrell & Angelina Love in a triple threat match to become the new No. 1 contender for the TNA Knockouts Championship

* The Great Sanada & James Storm b. Tigre Uno & Low Ki

* The Ethan Cater III/Rockstar Spud segment was filmed. Spud turned babyface, as he was fired by EC3, however, this allowed for Brodus Clay to make his debut and lay him out.

* Bobby Roode b. MVP & Kenny King in a 2-on-1 Elimination Match. Roode eliminated MVP, then King by disqualification after interference from TNA Champion Bobby Lashley. Roode earned a title shot for the victory, which was a stipulation of the bout.
