TNA Wrestling issued the following statement to WrestlingNewsWorld.com:

Statement from TNA Regarding IMPACT WRESTLING

It has come to our attention that several internet news sources have falsely attributed statements to TNA, its executives and broadcasting partner. These false statements constitute defamation and if necessary we will seek all legal remedies available to us.

I'm assuming the statement is in response to a report attributed to Dave Meltzer that Destination America has marked Impact for cancelation. We recapped his report, stating the decision [to mark the show for cancelation] was made prior to the announcement that Impact is moving to Wednesday nights and the cancelation was a result of "just okay ratings" that do not justify its cost.

Bob Ryder kind of responded, assuring fans TNA isn't going out of business.

May 21, 2015 6:56 PM EDT Update: Just for clarification, while I "assumed" in my response to the statement this was their reaction to Dave Meltzer's report, I can confirm that is indeed what this is. End update.
