The PWInsider.com website reported details about a conference call that Dixie Carter held today with TNA Wrestling talent:
On the call, Carter introduced Eric Nordholm as a member of the Board of Managers for the company. Nordholm is from Anthem and you can read his corporate profile at this link.
Carter told talent that Anthem Media will inject capital into the company to provide them with resources to take TNA to the next level. Nordholm expressed his excitement and put over the company’s talent roster.
The possibility of TNA launching an over the top network, similar to WWE Network, was brought up as the plan would be to utilize existing TNA content. There are also plans to get the company touring again, including with live events, as well as strengthen their relationship with Sony Six in India.
Dixie Carter confirmed the departures of Dave Lagana and Billy Corgan. The creative team is now comprised of John Gaburick, Matt Conway and Madison Rayne. Dixie told talent they’re looking to add to the creative team with a collaborative effort.
The call was an attempt to “pull talent in the loop” about recent changes and try to boost morale after the falling out with Billy Corgan.
