Goldberg Says Wrestlemania Match Will Be A "Bloodfest"

On the first episode of Edge and Christian's podcast, Goldberg was the debut guest. He talked about a number of subjects revolving mostly around his return and what the feeling is among talent in the locker room. Goldberg noted that it seems like management doesn't have enough faith in the talent to let them do whatever they want to do in terms of promos and spots in matches.

One big thing he said is that his match with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania is going to be a "knock-down, drag-out bloodfest." Goldberg said that they will most likely work a longer match and they've been given no restraints so it's going to be quite violent.

    “management doesn’t have enough faith in the talent to let them do whatever they want to do in terms of promos and spots in matches.”

    And that is what keeps WWE from finding the next big thing. Lack of creativity.

    A bloodfest…..the only time I can remember Goldberg getting bloodied (aside from head-butting doors) was when he put his arm through a car window in WCW and took himself out of action for several weeks.

    Bloodfest = Botchfest

    Within the constraints of a PG rating? Maybe. Brock has been known to cut himself without permission.
