The show begins with a bit of a different look on commentary as we'll have Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Dolph Ziggler calling the action this evening as we see a video package highlighting Drew McIntyre's attack on Randy Orton, last week.

In the ring, we see the aforementioned WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre where is says WWE medical personnel told him to take some time off but that would've required him to vacate his WWE Title and not compete at the Clash of Champions PPV in 2 weeks which was never a realistic scenario, says Drew. McIntyre then challenges Orton to an ambulance match for his WWE Title at Clash of Champions. Drew says the rules don't apply to the 2 of them, so why should they apply at the PPV?

WWE Producer, Adam Pearce then comes out and says if Orton is unable to compete at Clash of Champions, Keith Lee will step-in and get the opportunity at Drew's title.

Keith Lee then makes his way down to the ring and he shakes hands with the WWE Champion but Lee won't let go of Drew's hand and the 2 men stare each other down as we head to a commercial break.

After the match, Zelina Vega makes her way down to the ring. She says that she's wasted some of the best years of her career managing those '2 idiots' Andrade and Angel Garza. She says Asuka has been reckless with the RAW Women's Championship and doesn't even need to bother asking if she's ready for Asuka...because she's ready for THAT (and points to the title). Vega slaps Asuka in the face and slides out of the ring before Asuka can retaliate.

  • Match - Bobby Lashley (with MVP, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin) vs Erik

We then see Braun Strowman entering RAW Underground.

We cut backstage to Seth Rollins and Murphy speaking. Rollins says he and Dominik will fight inside of a steel cage which means nobody can go inside...and nobody can go outside. Seth asks Murphy if he's ready to fill the role that Seth has for him, tonight. Seth slaps the hell out of Murphy and says his role, tonight is to stay backstage and not interfere in his match...which is next.

We immediately cut to the backstage area where Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee are brawling and Adam Pearce steps-in and tells them he'll cancel the Clash of Champions title match as well as their match, tonight if they touch each other one more time before the aforementioned match. Both men walk away to opposite sides of the arena and we head to a commercial break.

Tag-Team Match - Riott Squad (Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan) vs Lana & Natalya

After the match, the WWE Women's Tag-Team Champions, Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax, who were on commentary for this matchup, chase Liv and Ruby out of the ring then attack Natalya & Lana and Nia drills Lana with a 'Samoan Drop' through the announce table as we head to another commercial break.

It's now time for our main event of the evening...

Drew McIntyre vs Keith Lee have an absolute banger for about 10-minutes but ends in a no-contest after Retribution storm the ring and beat both men down.

The Hurt Business of MVP, Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin come down to the ring and attack Retribution but Keith Lee and Drew McIntyre both fly over the top-rope and take everyone out as the show goes off-the-air.
