There has been an interesting situation going on between Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Andrei Arlovski.

Johnson claimed that Arlovski declined to fight him but Arlovski stated he had been in Russia and it was his camp that turned the fight down.

This made Rumble feel that new matchmaker Mick Maynard lied to him.

Below is some of the back and forth from social media:

Andrei Arlovski on Twitter:

Now I have to apologize to UFC and @Anthony_Rumble
I have never turned down a fight. My team turned it down for me when I was in Russia

Anthony Johnson on Facebook:

I would like to apologize to Andre Arlovski for saying he declined the fight with me... Come to find out that he was Never offered the fight. Although Mick told me he reached out to Arlovski camp and they declined. Idk the dude and he's already telling me lies as a match maker. Thanks for letting me know you were never offered the fight Arlovski…

Johnson later posted:

Now it's a bunch of middle men with this Arlovski situation. So somewhere along the lines things were mixed up. I'm not apologizing again soon yall need to have a group meeting and solve the issue. I'm done with it so it is what it is!
