Conor McGregor Makes History, Wins UFC Lightweight Championship

Conor McGregor made history at UFC 205 by defeating Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC Lightweight Championship. McGregor won by technical knockout via punches at 3:04 of the second round. He’s the first fighter in UFC history to hold titles in separate weight classes at the same time.

McGregor (21-3) is also the UFC featherweight champion.
