UFC featherweight champion Demetrious Johnson injured his right knee during the first round of his title fight against Tim Elliot at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale on Saturday night.

Johnson revealed during an appearance on The MMA Hour on Monday he heard a little pop during the first round of the fight and believes he could have torn the lateral collateral ligament (LCL) in his right knee. He explained it’s still swollen but he hopes to have an MRI on Tuesday or Wednesday.

While Johnson ran into some trouble in the first round, having to fight out of a guillotine choke from Tim Elliot, he controlled the remaining four rounds. Johnson is 25–2–1 and is considered the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
