Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is returning to UFC, it was announced during the broadcast of Fight Night 58 on Saturday night. Below are promotional videos UFC Tweeted to announce the new deal:
Here was the announcement from the verified UFC on FOX Twitter account:
Sources connected with UFC and Jackson confirmed a new agreement had been signed, however, a hangup remains. Jackson is still under contract with Spike TV-owned Bellator MMA.
Bellator President Scott Coker confirmed as much and made it clear Bellator planned to fight Jackson’s UFC return:

Since leaving UFC in 2013, Jackson has gone on to fight three times before Bellator and also make cross-over appearances in TNA Wrestling. He was 3-0 in Bellator, winning fights against Joey Beltran, Christian M'Pumbu and ”King Mo” Muhammed Lawal. He left UFC after three consecutive losses against Jon Jones, Ryan Bader and Glover Teixeira.
It’s safe to say the legalities will have to be worked out before Jackson’s UFC return fight.
What's even more interesting is that Bellator was interested in signing CM Punk but UFC got him. Sources tell Wrestling News World they're preparing a massive offer for Brock Lesnar next year, who will not only have an offer from UFC waiting but one from WWE as well. Another name Bellator is hot on is former WWE star Alberto Del Rio.
