Yoel Romero appears primed to get a shot against Michael Bisping for the UFC Middleweight Championship.
The trash talking started immediately following Romero's knockout victory over Chris Weidman at UFC 205 on Saturday night. Bisping was seated in a box at Madison Square Garden and flipped Romero off after Romero called him out.
Dana White indicated during the UFC 205 post-fight press conference that the fight made the most sense but no official announcement has been made.
Romero (13-1) has not lost in the UFC. Bisping (30-7) has defended the UFC Middleweight Championship once since winning it in June by defeating Dan Henderson at UFC 204 by unanimous decision.
