IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship
Hiromu Takahashi (c) vs. KUSHIDA
I wish WWE could book their Cruiserweight’s like this. These guys told a great story and took some stiff bumps. Great match!
Winner: Kushida via submission to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion
Post-Match- Kushida asks for the crowd to do "The Wave." As he's doing that, Bushi shows up and attacks Kushida with a mist spray to the face! He looks to throw down a challenge to the new champion.
Lumberjack deathmatch for the NEVER Openweight Championship
Minoru Suzuki (c) vs. Hiriooki Goto
Big M Says: This match was a brawl not just between Suzuki and Goto but by the Lumberjacks at ringside (The Lumberjacks being members of each man’s respective stables). Very physical and very entertaining.
Winner: Minoru Suzuki retains the NEVER Openweight Championship
Post Match- Brawl after the match, with Yoshi-Hashi going after Suzuki, who cuts a promo. Looks like Yoshi-Hashi will be the next challenger for the title. Yoshi runs out after Suzuki, but is cut off by Suzuki-Gun.
IWGP Intercontinental Championship
Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
Big M Says: Tanahashi sold his injured arm the whole match and Naito honestly phoned this one in. Average match on the whole. But at least Naito can’t do any more psychical harm to the Title belt. That thing is basically scrap metal now!
Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi via Pinfall to win the IWGP Intercontinental Championship
IWGP Heavyweight Championship
Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Kenny Omega
Big M Says: If this match had gone one minute longer I think I would have had a heart attack! This was simply incredible. A match for the ages.
