Archie Gouldie, who was best known as The Mongolian Stomper, has died. He was 78. Details regarding his passing are not immediately available but we’ve learned he died today, January 23, 2016.

Bret Hart named Gouldie the greatest Canadian wrestler of all time in an episode of WWE’s Legends of Wrestling. He’d reportedly been working as a deputy sheriff in Knox County, TN, where he was a correctional officer.
