Arrest Warrant Issued For Ric Flair

The Charlotte Observer is reporting that a judge has issued an order of arrest for Ric Flair. Flair was held in contempt earlier in July for not paying his ex-wife, Jacqueline Beems, more than $32,000 in spousal support.

Flair, whose real name is Richard Fliehr, was ordered to pay Beems $4000 per month when she filed for a legal separation last summer. The money was intended to go towards her car payment, health insurance and legal fees.

The arrest warrant was issued on July 3 but Flair could avoid jail time if he pays what he owes. Flair blamed non-payment on the death of his son Reid as well as time in the hospital for a blood clot in his leg. He plans to pay what he owes on Wednesday.

Ironically enough, Jacqueline Beems surrendered to authorities Tuesday morning on a misdemeanor charge from allegedly threatening Flair's currently girlfriend back in October 2012.
