The Los Angeles Times reports that Hayabusa (real name Eiji Ezaki) died Thursday from a brain hemorrhage. He was only 47 years old.
Hayabusa broke his neck during a match in 2001 when he slipped on the ropes while attempting a maneuver. He was paralyzed for several years but had recently gotten out of his wheel chair and walked with the assistance of a cane.
