Roddy Piper Wants Hulk Hogan At WrestleMania; What You Won't See On Smackdown; JR's Raw Thoughts

- "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was a guest on this week's edition of Steve Austin's podcast, and expressed interest in facing Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania XXX. He explained that his feud with Hogan never had closure in the excerpt below:

"First of all, from a fan’s perspective and from the WWE Universe and Vince, it never had closure. The business that would be done, the interviews and stuff would be coming from the heart. You could try to raise the bar of the WWE entertainment machine in our sport if they let us go toe-to-toe and don’t script us. Then the fan will see really how it got started and why and see the conclusion. They're asking, can I get in shape? I'm already in shape. They're asking Hogan, but there's a fear, I guess, of whether we could pull off the performance."

    Hi Richard.

I am trying to use the dirt sheet app but when I do it keeps pushing me into the App Store to download some dodgy games. I also find when I read the site on the mobile web on iphone I keep getting kicked out into a new advertising window. Can this be stopped as it’s wasting my data allowance on my phone and is taking away from m enjoyment of your site.

So Ultimate Warrior V Jake Roberts and Roddy Piper V Hogan?

Well, I don’t even know what to say about that.

WrestleMania XXX – where it all begins again and again and again

Please no!!!! No one cares if they ever “had closure.” Both of them are *well* past their prime. I don’t ever need to see this. This would only be entertaining twenty years ago. Hogan can barely walk and Piper can’t sense when his time has passed.

I also enjoyed that he is apparently “in shape” and that Hogan is apparently their only fear.

I’m of the opinion they did have closure… in WCW. And WWE now owns WCW, so therefore by the transitive properties, they DID have closure in WWE. Sorted. Match not needed. Someone just needs to explain algebra to Roddy Piper

I much prefer him changing the questions when everyone thinks they have the answers than seeing him working a ring with Hogan. They both need to get out of the way and let the young guys get their just due rather than trying for another hollow grab at the spotlight. Seeing Piper do the “Pit” thing once in a while is fun. This would be a joke.
