The All Night Xpress vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team

Rhett Titus and Kenny King are the first men to make their way to the ring, and they get a huge pop from the crowd, many of whom are likely happy to see Rhett Titus back from injury.

Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team are out next, and they get a mixed reaction, probably due to their actions in their match against the Briscoe's at the last ROH iPPV.

The tension between all four men is evident as they have to be held apart by the referee before the match even begins.

Titus and Benjamin start things off for their respective teams. Haas shoves Titus from behind, and this allows Shelton to come in with an attack from behind. Shelton beats on Titus in the corner for a bit, but Titus turns it around and lays in some nasty chops. Titus hits a corner clothesline and nails a bulldog for a quick near fall. King tags in and works over Shelton's arm, taking him to the mat with an arm bar.

Benjamin fights up to his feet and out of the hold, putting King in a headlock. King sends Benjamin off the ropes and eats a big shoulder block. King responds with a big hip toss before getting hit with a blatant low blow right in front of the referee. Haas tags in and hits Kenny with a big right hand to the face.

Haas continues the assault, kicking away at King, and the New York fans don't seem to like it. King is able to respond with a beautiful dropkick before tagging out to Titus. They go for a double team move but Haas fights it off. They come back with a double team sequence, snapping Haas' neck across the ropes and hitting him with a neckbreaker. They then turn to Shelton and beat on him in the corner before King hits a nice back heel kick and both members of WGTT are on the outside. King and Titus hit stereo dives to the outside on top of their opponents to a big pop from the crowd.

Back in the ring Titus kicks away at Haas until Haas makes his way to the ropes. Haas takes a cheap shot at King to distract the ref and allow Shelton to come in from behind to attack Titus' injured knee. Haas turns back to Titus and takes his knee pad off before kicking and wrenching away at his knee. Haas picks Titus up to his feet only to kick his leg right out from under him. Shelton tags in and drops down on Titus' leg while Haas drapes it across the bottom rope. Benjamin wrenches Titus' knee and leg, putting pressure on it, but Titus is able to kick him away. Shelton comes back by simply beating Titus with repeated fists to the face.

Haas tags in and takes Titus into the corner, wrapping his leg around the middle rope and pulling back before hitting him with a giant running clothesline. Titus struggles to pull himself up on the ropes, and Haas runs up behind him to kick the back of the knee again. Haas heads to the outside and wraps Titus' leg around the ringpost. Shelton tags in and takes advantage of a distraction by King to grab a chair. The ref grabs it before Shelton can use it, but it allows Haas to choke Titus. Shelton locks in a figure four around the ring post while Haas and King fight in the ring. Benjamin eventually lets go, and Haas hits Titus with a kick to the head that sends him out to the floor.

Titus is able to roll up Benjamin out of nowhere, but he only gets two. Titus struggles for the tag, but Shelton stops him in his tracks and locks in a modified figure four. Titus is able to roll Shelton up while in the hold, but still only gets two. Shelton keeps Titus from making the tag, and tags out to Haas, who comes in and continues the assault to the knee. Hass plants puts his knee against Titus' and pulls straight back on his foot for a bit before standing up and stomping him in the face. Titus gets up to his knees and then feet, trading rights with Haas the whole time. Titus ducks a clothesline and makes the tag to King. Haas tags out and King comes in with clotheslines to Shelton before hitting an atomic drop/enzugiri combo. Haas is in and King hits him with a couple of head butts before locking in a single leg crab. Benjamin breaks the hold, but eats double shotgun knees to the chest for another two count.

King picks Benjamin up and finds himself in a small package for a two count. King tags out to Titus and the send Benjamin into the ropes before hitting him with a series of kicks to the head and face. Titus goes for the pin but Haas is able to break it up. Haas hits Titus with a couple of rights to the face, then a big boot. Haas hits a nasty release German suplex on Titus, but Titus is able to tag out. King comes in and WGTT double team him immediately, hitting him with an atomic drop/yakuza kick combo. Benjamin goes for the pin, but King kicks out. Titus and Haas trade rights in the middle of the ring, and I don't even know who's legal anymore. Both Haas and Titus tumble to the floor after a big clothesline from Titus. Back in the ring, King hits a Code Red for a near fall. Both men trade pinfalls, and King is able to hold Shelton down for the three count.

Winners: The All Night Xpress

After the match, ANX make their way to the back while Haas and Benjamin antagonize the fans before heading to the back themselves.

Kelly and Nigel reflect a bit on ten years of ROH before letting us know that up next will see Homicide taking on Mike Bennett.

  • Van

Maria was probably angry because Homicide used her ex-boyfriend's finisher on current boyfriend because she could see CM Pimp doing it to him as well

    • Taker must come back soon. if not i only have Cm punk left. since Triple H is not in the ring at the time since his, COO. damn amelia sarah said. if he dont ruretn i will start to watch Tna. there Jeff hardt is. and hi is not leaving there, yet. only wish he come back to smackdown or raw..

  • Brian? You’re referring to Democrats as “DUmmies” while qtniuog the National Enquirer on political issues and asking “Dr.” Ruth for gut reactions to moral questions?

  • Bradduh Biz.. I know your nervous about Reem v Jds bc they’re aimilsr in style but Reem is more dangerous bc of knees and elbows. Brock is more of a threat bc of wrestling and TDs, but Jds will be a walk in the park for Reem no matter how humble Jds is bc he’ll be humbled if he faces Reem.. he’ll be outclassed IMO.

  • Love the article Brandon. Keep inmppug em out.I enjoyed the amount of wrestling but all the sketchy finishes and silly stuff bothered me. I hated Orton running after Barrett even though I accept that he gets angry and loses control. The reason he’s pissed is because Barrett keeps costing him matches .so wouldn’t he realize that’s what is happening? I’m a bigger Smackdown fan. I tune into Raw for Zwaggler, Punk, and Del Rio
