Nearly a year ago the US D.O.J. ordered Disney to sell 21 Fox regional sports networks as a provision of its Fox deal. It seems Disney hit the jackpot and one buyer in particular purchased all 21 regional sports networks. That buyer was Sincair Broadcasting, the same company that owns Ring of Honor. The deal was done for $10 billion, which might seem like a lot, but it's actually smaller than expected. The networks were valued at anywhere from 15-25 billion dollars. What does this mean for Ring of Honor, well it never hurts to be owned by the company that owns 21 regional sports networks. We'll have to see if any changes are made in the future.
