Believe it or not, Ric Flair has actually been campaigning for a match at Wrestlemania 32 next year. Flair, 66, last wrestled Sting in TNA Wrestling back in 2011 and would be 67 by the time of Wrestlemania.
The chances of WWE clearing Flair to work again are very slim. Things have changed after Jerry Lawler’s heart attack a few years ago, with WWE not wanting to risk something like that ever happening again. All of this comes on the heels of Hulk Hogan, 62, STILL campaigning for a singles match against John Cena.
With WWE possibly putting 100,000 fans in AT&T Stadium for the show next year, expect many names to try and pitch a match.
