There continues to be a lot of uncertainty regarding the future of TNA Wrestling. No one really knows for sure what’s going to happen with Destination America and whether or not the promotion will still have domestic television after September. There are also the buyout rumors that involve Jeff Jarrett.
Everything we’re hearing — from multiple sources — is that Toby Keith keeps getting cold feet and won’t sign off on a deal where he would purchase the promotion from Panda Energy. TNA continues to try to cut costs as there is a very real possibility they will (temporarily?) be an international only promotion. TNA believes they can survive that way and that if they do survive, some sort of US deal will be inevitable as they'll be producing the tapes anyway, so whatever they can get in the states is better than nothing.
