- I still don’t have all the details on The Dudley Boyz and their respective agreements to work for WWE but the contracts were finalized last week. There was talk about re-debuting them at SummerSlam but the decision was made to bring them back on Raw to spread things out and create some excitement on television. Bubba Ray Dudley made it clear back in May he was just working for TNA on per shot deals and still wanted to return to WWE. Some believed he was close to coming in earlier this summer when he got in a Twitter war with Luke Harper.

- Braun Stowman’s spot as a member of The Wyatt Family was at one time pitched to be for Adam Rose as Leo Kruger. Something we shouldn’t lose sight of is the fact that Rose irked Vince McMahon for tweeting about possibly returning as Kruger. Rose worked last night in a dark match, doing the honors to Jack Swagger.

- Vince McMahon decided to save Sting for the Raw after SummerSlam as opposed to using him on the pay-per-view card. This was similar to the decision to delay the re-debut of The Dudley Boyz in that they already had enough of an attraction at the pay-per-view and wanted to spread the other elements out to weekly television. Sources close to Vince believe he thought SummerSlam was a very strong attraction and with the WWE Network growing, he’s hoping Sting at Night of Champions will keep it going.

- Brock Lesnar was scheduled to work for WWE through the month of September, however, it’s looking more like the company is going to give him the next 6 weeks off and bring him back for the Madison Square Garden WWE Network special on October 3, 2015.

- I heard Dean Ambrose was asked to “tone it down” in regards to his in-ring style. Apparently there is some feeling that he’s pushing it too hard and it’s taking its toll on his body.

- I’m told Dolph Ziggler was ribbed backstage for looking like Shawn Michaels circa 1992 with his new look tights on Raw.
