Brock Lesnar appeared on Mike & Mike and SportsCenter on ESPN on Tuesday morning. The appearances were on behalf of WWE to promote Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. Below are some of things Lesnar stated during his time on the network:

Brock talked about his UFC career ending prematurely due to diverticulosis. When his contract with WWE came up last year, he had options but WWE have treated him very well since he came back in 2012. Brock put over the fact that he’s not always on the road and said that his relationship with Vince McMahon is better than it has ever been.

Brock discussed being able to “take in” the crowd reactions towards him at last night’s Raw from his hometown in Minneapolis. He said the difference from appearing for WWE in his hometown compared to when he fought for UFC in front of them at UFC 100 is in WWE, he was able to absorb the crowd. Brock said when fighting, he was just focused on being a stone cold barbarian killer out to hurt his opponent.

Lesnar stated it was very natural for him to work as a heel but now he’s getting cheered out of the arena. Connecting with the WWE audience is just like any other sport - without fans — there is nothing.

Brock is excited to rematch The Undertaker at SummerSlam. Ending the streak was a weird experience but a business decision made by Vince McMahon.

When asked about Dana White tweeting that WWE is fake, Brock stated that of course it’s fake and that everyone knows that. He said Dana is still promoting the same thing WWE is promoting. It just so happens WWE gets more longevity out of their talent. Brock believes Vince may be better at it than Dana and that may rub Dana the wrong way. Lesnar stated Vince is a pioneer and has been doing it his entire life and is damn good at it.
