- There is some concern that there isn’t a concrete plan in place for the main event of next month’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. A couple things have been discussed including Triple H vs. Seth Rollins andBrock Lesnarvs. Rollins (which of course is the main event of Battleground on Sunday). One person I spoke with believes they’ll hold off on Hunter vs. Rollins until the first quarter of 2016, with the possibility of Rollins vs. Lesnar in a gimmick match headlining SummerSlam.

- I wrote earlier about Sami Zayn shedding his cast and having an outside shot at returning from his shoulder injury before the end of 2015. We’re told the latest plan from creative was to reintroduce him in the Royal Rumble match, which of course is the beginning of 2016.

- Many felt like Kevin Owens dropping the NXT Championship to Finn Balor in Japan earlier this month should have been his last match on the brand. There is confusion as to why they’re having him rematch Balor the night before SummerSlam, which creates a number of booking quandaries.

- Speaking of Finn Balor, WWE and Mattel are releasing three action figures for him. Higher ups within WWE see a tremendous amount of opportunities with merchandising Balor and this seems to be the beginning of that. We’re expecting Balor on the main roster by the end of the year.
