Confusion Over TNA Slammiversary Main Event

There is confusion over the main event for Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view. While Kurt Angle was originally scheduled to defend the TNA Championship against Ethan Carter III on the pay-per-view, that match was moved to the July 1, 2015 episode of Impact. Slammiversary will be headlined by the King of the Mountain Match.

Now for the confusion. The following is from the verified Twitter account of TNA referee Brian Hebner (the son of Earl Hebner):

Richard Reacts: I don't know what to say other than this is just reflective of the current state of TNA. Slammiversary is one of their biggest shows of the year yet there seems to be a high degree of confusion over the show's main event. To be fair, the original plan was for Angle vs. EC3 to take place on the pay-per-view but it was changed to accommodate the taping schedule.Add A Pro Wrestling Insider To Your Facebook Feed - Friend Richard Gray Now!
