- Erick Rowan is out with a torn rotator cuff. He underwent surgery by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas in Birmingham, AL today to repair the injury. He last worked at WWE’s live event on September 26, 2016 in Wheeling, WV. broke the story.

- Oscar De La Hoya was ringside at last night’s WWE Raw in Los Angeles. He was shown on camera.

- WWE began the restart on Emma with vignettes on last night’s Raw. She wasn’t drafted over the summer due to a back injury and will now go by Emmalina. Here is a screen shot of the vignette.

- Congratulations to Sasha Banks, who won the WWE Raw Women’s Championship last night. There is talk of her defending the title against Charlotte in a Hell in a Cell match at the pay-per-view later this month. If it happens, it’ll be the first women’s Hell in a Cell match in WWE history. The pay-per-view will take place on October 30, 2016 from TD Garden in Boston, MA.

- After WWE Raw went off the air, Roman Reigns teamed with Big Cass & Enzo Amore to beat WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Rusev.

- TMZ Sports caught up with Dana White and asked him about a potential fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather. White explained while they both seem to want the money, he doesn’t know how much they want to make it a reality. White indicated it’s all a game and the fight won’t happen. - The UFC announced today that Mirsad Bektic will face Russell Doane at UFC 204 in Manchester, England on Saturday. Bektic was scheduled to face Arnold Allen but he withdrew due to injury. Jeremy Kennedy was announced as his replacement but he had to withdraw as well due to injury. Bektic has three wins and zero losses in UFC and an impressive 10-0 professional record. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 67 in May 2015, where he defeated Lucas Martins by TKO in the second round.

- The details are out in the arrest of Michael Graves over the weekend and they aren’t pretty. Graves’s fiancée told police he punched and elbowed her in the head during an argument. Officers noted her face was swollen from the incident. There was a witness that heard the argument get physical in a car containing Graves and his fiancée. He was arrested by Atlanta police on Saturday and the UFC pulled him from his November 19, 2016 fight against Sergio Moraes on Monday.

- Brian Fritz has a fascinating interview online with Bobby Roode at this link. In it, Roode discussed the decision to leave TNA Wrestling for WWE after 12 years. Roode has nothing bad to say about TNA but he started to lose his passion when they became a TV-only product. He missed being on the road and performing and WWE gave him that opportunity.

- Ric Flair started some drama on his podcast when he claimed that he hooked up with Halle Berry after she divorced David Justice. TMZ contacted Berry’s camp, who said that not only has she not slept with Flair, she’s never even heard of him.

- Kota Ibushi said recently there is no chance that he returns to WWE on a full-time deal. He will participate in the 2016 NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic but will not work on an exclusive deal.

- Alberto Del Rio missed his booking with AAA over the weekend because he was assaulted by someone with a knife outside a restaurant where he was eating. Del Rio posted a statement on Instagram about the attack with graphic photos of his head cut open as well as lacerations on his arm. Here was the statement released on his Instagram: “Mr. Rodriguez (“Alberto El Patron”) shortly after eating a meal before his flight was assaulted by a criminal with a knife outside the restaurant. Mr. Rodriguez suffered multiple lacerations on his arm and other parts of his body defending against the criminal as Police were called by witnesses. Mr. Rodriguez received medical attention and went back to the Police Department and was unable to make his flight. Mr. Rodriguez has spoken with the ownership of Lucha Libre AAA WorldWide and given them documentation of the incident. Mr. Rodriguez greatly regrets not being there yesterday for his fans in Mexico and promises to everyone he will make this up as soon as possible. Despite the graphic lacerations Mr. Rodriguez will not miss any of his shows for the remainder of the year and is ready to compete this weekend in the UK.” Below are the photos Del Rio posted:

- WWE producer Jamie Noble was attacked in his front yard in Princeton, WV, he confirmed on Facebook. Noble said after he was stabbed they tried to cut his throat but he fought them off and they cut his shoulder instead. His girlfriend came running out of the house and the attackers fled. Noble ended up with a hemothorax and was hospitalized to get his lungs stabilized. The suspects are still at large and anyone with information needs to contact the police. Noble is offering a cash reward.

- Dixie Carter addressed the TNA roster at last night’s Impact tapings in Orlando, Florida. She stated WWE was interested [in purchasing the company] but that she would not let that happen. She stated they still own their tape library and apologized for the worry and concern. Some talent were concerned about late payments and Dixie explained that was due to them waiting for money to come in. According to Dixie, Bound for Glory was never in jeopardy but they did have to scramble to make things happen.
