Fearless Jericho, New Titles On Smackdown, Lesnar Suspended, WWE HoFer Agrees Raw Is Too Long

- There was a lot of talk about a lot of different things at last night’s WWE Raw. For one, talent was still buzzing about the altercation between Brock Lesnar and “fearless” Chris Jericho backstage Sunday night at SummeSlam. Let the record show that Jericho has now had backstage altercations with Lesnar and Bill Goldberg. It didn’t stop Vince McMahon from getting upset with Chris as we have the full scoop as to what went down on Sunday available at this link.

- The second topic of discussion was obviously the shoulder injury of Finn Balor, which resulted in him relinquishing the newly won WWE Universal Championship live on the USA Network. He’s expected to be out a minimum of six months following a possible labrum tear suffered in his match at SummerSlam against Seth Rollins.

- WWE is expected to introduce a second Women’s championship and set of tag team titles tonight on Smackdown. Daniel Bryan used his social media to promote the new belts but didn’t specify. You can read what he tweeted at this link.

- "Killer Instinct" Johnny Knockout, who likes big sweaty men, was who did the honors for Braun Strowman on this week’s WWE Raw.

- Edge, like many of us, feels Raw is too long at three hours. Here’s what he told Fansided: "The last one was great for the company. I was disappointed when the shows were merged together. I think RAW is just way too long being three hours. Last time I watched was when Shane returned and after that I said to myself, this is a long show. I got kids too, so goodnight! I think it gives people opportunities because they don't have to book the main people for RAW. Personally, I like the idea because there's no competition you have to build your own. That's what it was last time when I was there and hopefully it's the same this time around.”

- Put the scalpels away folks, Sasha Banks is taking some time off to rest her ailing back. It’s not believed she’ll need surgery as WWE is planning on her being out just a little over one month.

- Austin Aries ruptured his eardrum at Saturday’s WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II pay-per-view.

- WWE Champion Dean Ambrose & John Cena beat Seth Rollins & AJ Styles in a dark match main event following last night’s Raw.

- The Nevada Athletic Commission issued a temporary suspension to Brock Lesnar on Tuesday in connection with his UFC 200 drug test failures. The suspension is temporary pending a formal hearing on a date that has not yet been announced. Lesnar faces up to a two-year suspension from Mixed Martial Arts competition and fines for testing positive for the estrogen blocking drug Clomiphene.

- Both Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz have been issued medical suspensions after their fight at UFC 202. McGregor must sit out until October 20, with no contact training until October 5th. The suspension could go until December 17, 2016 if not cleared by an orthopedist. McGregor suffered injuries to his left foot and ankle as well as a shin injury. Diaz is suspended until September 20, 2016.
