- Finn Balor had a badly torn labrum and surgery was much more complicated than originally anticipated. He tore half of his conjoined tendon off his coracoid when he dislocated his shoulder [in his match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam], in addition to his biceps and pec minor. There was initial hope Balor would be back in four months but that is off the table, as he’s expected to be out a minimum of six months. You can watch Dr. Jeffrey Dugas explain the surgery to Balor with comments from him in the video embedded above.

- WNW Premium is about to see a huge expansion and with that expansion is going to come new price points. You can lock in your rate now at the SIGNUP or RENEWAL page. Also, keep in mind the $4.95/month package for 18 months is still there - don’t miss out!

- Forbes is reporting that WWE has not completely shut the door on Daniel Bryan wrestling again and that the company plans to continue the angle with wrestlers calling him out for not wrestling. This has been a tricky situation as Bryan was independently cleared to compete but not by WWE. Further neurological testing determined Bryan would be putting his long-term health at risk if he decided to wrestle again. Bryan was so determined to return at one point, he was fighting to get out of his WWE contract but Brie Bella, his wife, also opposes him wrestling again. Brie’s word is more powerful than WWE’s word and Bryan has gone on to accept on-air roles that do not involve him wrestling. It remains unlikely that Bryan will work for WWE again but according to Forbes, it’s still a possibility.

- Shawn Michaels is considering taking a job at the WWE Performance Center as a coach. The job has already been offered to Michaels but he’s been deciding whether or not he wants to move from Texas to Florida. He recently put his ranch up for sale for $1,995,000, so it looks like he is giving it serious consideration. Shawn was at last night’s WWE NXT television tapings from the campus of Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. You can view a photo of Shawn and Hunter at this link.

- Seth Rollins continues to have a strong showing of support from veteran wrestlers, despite the injuries to Sting, John Cena and Finn Balor while working in main event matches against him. All three incidents are being treated as “freak” things that just happen in the business. Bret Harthad a different take and while Rollins isn’t a bad worker, I believe he needs to be more careful. One badly injured opponent is a freak accident. Two and we’re going to start paying attention. Three and there has to be changes.

- Speaking of last night’s WWE NXT tapings, we have complete results available at this link.

- Corey Graves was still on commentary for the episodes of WWE NXT that were taped last night, despite his move to the main roster. He teamed with Tom Phillips.

- Bayley is booked in matches against WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte for this weekend’s WWE live events in Puebla and León, Guanajuato.

- Sheamus, who was filming scenes for the movie ATONE this week in Mississippi, is scheduled for this weekend’s live events.

- Daniel Bryan told Michael Cole in his latest sit-down interview that Finn Balor should have been on the main WWE roster a year and a half ago. He also advocated for the respective call-ups of Samoa Joe and Nakamura given the fact they are in the prime of their careers and the obvious uncertainty in regards to injuries.
