The Five-Count: Roman Reigns Wins Big, Rumble Fallout, Kidd/Cesaro

Welcome back to another edition of The Five-Count! If you are new to this series, I’ll break it down for you real quick. Usually every weekend I post this weekly breakdown of what I liked, what I didn’t like, who was the superstar or diva of the week, the match of the week, and a prediction or talking point I want to address. Here we go!

Superstar of the Week: Roman Reigns

"Deal with it!" This quote is exactly how I feel about the whole Roman Reigns/Royal Rumble situation honestly. Roman is in for the biggest push possible right now. I enjoy seeing him in the ring, knowing he is the future. What really, really, really makes me mad is when stupid, yes, stupid IWC smarks try to "make a scene" in the crowd or on social media to try and derail his push. It infuriates me. I just don't understand it whatsoever. I love Daniel Bryan as much as the next guy, but this is ridiculous. Reigns won the Royal Rumble Match, with a little bit of help from The Rock. He will challenge The Beast Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania. Just typing that made me freaking pumped and I can't wait. Like I said, deal with it.

Match of the Week: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins (Royal Rumble)

I absolutely loved this triple threat match a lot more than I thought I would! It was absolutely the best match so far in 2015. I'm not the biggest Brock Lesnar fan for a couple of reasons, but he actually impresses me in this match. John Cena kicked butt and took name as usual. And finally, Seth Rollins stole the whole dang show! I'm such a Rollins mark, but I don't care. Seth kills it in the ring every time he's in there, no matter who his opponent is and no matter the situation. Take all three of these unique guys and put them in one match... Epic! My favorite part was Seth's big table spot with Lesnar. It made Seth look so strong and Lesnar look weak. In the end, the sneaky beast destroyed his opponents one last time before walking away still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion!

The Highlight: The Rock Helps Roman Reigns

Like Brock Lesnar, I'm not the biggest fan of The Rock. I just don't care too much for particular part-timers. However, this time around, I felt The Rock did the best thing possible since coming back in 2011. And that was putting over Roman Reigns. Since it's well-known that Rock and Roman are family, it makes the story that much better. Yeah, it sucks that the Philly crowd crapped on both of them. Seeing The Rock raise Roman's hand up with the WrestleMania sign looming in the background felt magical. It was a true sign that we are on the road to WrestleMania!

The Lowlight: Raw Is Cancelled?!

I understand that a lot of you probably had major problems with the booking of the Royal Rumble match. I didn't like some of it, but in the end it was okay. Since I've talked about the Rumble this whole time, I figured I'd shed some light on the controversial Raw news from this week. I was very shocked and disappointed to read the news of Raw being cancelled due to the blizzard. It broke my heart! But, WWE was quick to schedule some big exclusive interviews at their headquarters and even aired the two big matches from the PPV, which was a great idea in my opinion. My Monday night was rather boring, but WWE made up for it with a good edition of SmackDown on Thursday.

Prediction: Tyson Kidd & Cesaro Win Tag Team Gold

Over the last couple of months, we have seen the newly formed team of Tyson Kidd and Cesaro display their awesomeness together in the ring. I thought they had a fair match and great win over The New Day on the Royal Rumble kickoff match. On this week's SmackDown, Kidd beat one-half of the Tag Team Champions Jey Uso in singles competition. That should be a big indicator that Kidd and Cesaro will be challenging The Usos for the Tag Titles very soon. My assumption was the new team would go under to The Usos at Fast Lane, but my thinking has changed a little. I actually came to realize that maybe Kidd and Cesaro could win the Tag Team Titles? Whether it happens at Fast Lane, WrestleMania, or some other time, I think it would be great!

It has been a very controversial seven days. Now it's time to do it all over again and hopefully we have a real Raw this week!
